Please look at this link: http://www.google.com
and compare it to http://www.bing.com
What did you notice? Google once again is slapping Christians in the face by not representing our holidays. While they will celebrate Muslim holidays and ignore Good Friday in favor of a writer that died decades ago (or was it centuries), bing.com honors the Christian holidays and gives insight into our traditions and faith.
If you don't start using Bing.com they can't improve their search engine to be better than google's. They need the trafic volume so they can analyze the searches to imporve them (as google does). Bing.com is pretty good and I use it as first try. If it fails then I may try google.com.

“Stop it... who cares... just use whatever works best...”
BTW, I’ve tried to use bing and don’t like it... I hope it catches up and keeps google honest...
Bing IS Microsoft, but so are a number of my fellow parishioners as well. Not all that is Microsoft is evil.
You may have installed the Bing toolbar when you downloaded other software. There was likely a check box option to unclick.
You can uninstall Bing by going to your contol panel and selecting “uninstall programs”. Scroll down and search for the Bing toolbar. You can remove it from your system right there.
Amen!
Happy Easter!

But my point is, unless you know where Google as a company or those that derive wealth from Google spread their “charity”, being offended is a poor excuse to boycott anything. Contributing funds to UN population control would be a far more serious flaw assuming Google doesn’t do the same.
Our convictions have to be more than skin deep.
Anyhow, I fear Google and their maniacal quest to collect as much personal info and relationship traffic as possible - many times exposing it in some new "beta" tool, and all they give to innocent bystanders caught in their web is "whoops".
Let me know if anyone answers you. I don’t get it, either.
Well thank you very much. I will do that.
You can search your profile you have here with Bing. I found mine five pages into the search. After 32 pages of searching Google, nothing.
Everyone should consider using Google because they also appear to engage in some subtle censorship of images that are unflattering to liberal politicians. On at least two instances I have found such images on Bing and yet have been unable, using standard search methodologies, to have the same images come up under a search on Google. In general, google’s search interface is easier to use than Bing’s is, but when it comes to politically-oriented materials, if you can’t find it on Google, double-check it on Bing - it might just be something else that Google is censoring.
does the same apply to cell phone operating systems?
google android vs the windows version?

Rather than remove it, you can just add other search engines to your browser. Your browser already has more than one search engine. If you click on the icon in your SEARCH BOX, it will let you pick a default search engine.
To add others, go to the website (for instance SCROOGLE.org).
They provide you with the links to add their site to your browser’s search engine list.
I have 11 different search engine choices in my browser.
I just hope this article was not written by the marketing department of Microsoft for this occasion ( just saying ).
I use Bing exclusively, but bear one thing in mind:
Free Republic uses Google Analytics - every time you refresh you’re sending a little bit of information there.
Oh yes, I always base my choice of search tools upon what graphics they choose to display on the main page.
That’s the only real way to decide, you know.
Feh.
Bing did not just insert itself as a search bar. You probably authorized it in an install or have a new PC. Java updates are installing it.
It is simple to remove by just uninstalling or hiding it.
In IE, you can “Manage Search Providers” and disable Bing if that’s what you want to do. You can also add your own.
It'll still be "in" your system, but not operational.
