So it was not due to global warming at the time, as conventional theory has suggested?

Catastrophism, ping!

The break-up of the comet was probably caused by a collision with a prototype SUV lost in space.

Thousands of chunks of material from the comet would have rained down on Earth, each one releasing the energy of a one megaton nuclear bomb. We need an immediate summit to reduce the universe's stockpile of comet fragments. You can't hug your children with densely packed frozen particle arms.

More likely the fallout from the Obama/Farrakkan Mother Ship.

So maybe global warming is real, we’ve just had a lot more comets lately! Whew. I was starting to lose my trust in liberal (aka phony) scientists.

Oh. The major climate events which accompanied the end of the last Ice Age at that time had nothing to do with it then. OK. Saturn’s rings are considered to be mostly ice...so maybe it was an attack by the Saturnians.

The Napier Stray Earth Theory, which no doubt formed the base function of the Capsizing Guam Theory. It is a monumental time, in the advancement of human intellect. The hypnotic idiotic will soon be ...... .... ........ ....

Capsizing Guam TheoryIdiot congressman didn't even know that all islands are heavily packed with styrofoam on the underside to make sure they don't sink.
To: TigerLikesRooster
It IS interesting though, and as likely as any other theory. More likely than some.

Some Cro-Magnon looking at the ruins of his hut probably thought up “homeowners insurance”.

It is interesting and the biblical flood story could be inferring a similar event.

That's the global warmingcooling theory which was invented to explain the uncomfortabe fact that the warming earth is stubbornly
cooling. In summary, it goes like this: the sea levels rise due to melting ice, which puts so much water vapor into the atmosphere that the resulting dense cloud cover blocks sunlight, causing Nuclear Winter and resulting in Instant Ice Age, as seen in the accompanying D- disaster movie, The Day After Tomorrow, which was "based on real science".

Will it rain Easter Sunday? No, you cannot tell me with certainty... so nothing they “think” may have happened 11,000 years ago is any more relevant than Star Trek is for the future of our space exploration... as of now... it is all science fiction. I despise the eco-wh0res.

“Back when I was young, around 11,000 or 13,000 BC — I forget which — we were coming out of an Ice Age, and we were going into a 1000 year freeze! We had floods! And hailstorms! Comets were whizzing paat us! You kids today have it easy!” [/very old codger]
