If 77$ voted for McCain-Palin then we are not looking at new voters, just and angry base.

I’ve been shocked and amazed at women’s reaction to this abuse of power and marxism.
I thought they would just go along with “sugar-daddy” state—boy was I wrong.
Thank you, American women!

My wife told me the reason she supports the TEA Party movement is simple. More taxes = Less discretionary (code word for shopping) money.
I just put my armour suit on.

The most shocking part of those stats to me is this...
33% of the women at the tea parties voted for obama.

"55% of Tea Party members are women versus 45% men, according to a Quinnipiac poll released last week. 77% of all of them voted for John McCain, and 88% of them are white. The Sarah Palin phenomenon may have motivated the white Tea Party women, who could significantly impact future elections, since their support of any potential Republican candidate has more room to grow than black women's support of an Obama re-election campaign."
A very interesting view of a dynamic that I must admit, I hadn't really looked at.
I don't doubt that Sarah Palin inspired a lot of center-right white women to stand up and get involved in forging the future direction of their country. She's undoubtedly a great inspiration to many women.
I can see the vast majority of conservative women not just looking at Sarah and seeing in her the sort of right-thinking conservative leadership this country truly needs, but also someone who represents them on a much more immediate, and personal level.
The author is definitely on to something big with this.

I can understand some wishing to pick apart the “motivation”, so as to do battle against it. (Liberals must always categorize)
But....
Maybe it's simply that conservative women have brains.

“88% of (tea party members) are white.”
That’s interesting. Does anybody have an idea of the racial makeup of the 12% of the tea party members who are non-white?

There is something to this. I am sensing a lot of hostility from the women I speak to these days. Even my apolitical wife is on the rampage over what Barack the Kenyan and his Chicago thugs are doing to America. I really believe it’s going to get ugly in November. The commie ‘RATS are in for a great big ******* surprise. They are losing the female vote and it’s worse than they think.

The writer is overlooking the possibility that some of us simply respect the constitution and the wisdom of our founders. Another factor is the concern we have for the long-term liberty, security and prosperity of our families. Loading up our children and their generation with debt is unwise, unfair, and unsustainable. Compromising their privacy and their rights to make their own decisions in life doesn't sit well with moms and grandmothers. And yes, there are a lot of grandmothers among the Tea Patriots.
Some political analysts can't get past the "gimme, gimme, what's in it for me" thinking that has pervaded our politics in recent decades. Among the Tea Party group, I just don't hear concerns framed in that way. It's about the future of our beloved country and the future well-being of our families. These are often mature people who have paid mortgages, put food on the table, cared for families, and paid for college. They know money doesn't grow on trees, and they know that when someone pays your way, they take over too many of your decisions. Call it life experience.
