Three weeks ago, Joseph "Zeke" Rucker was worried about which law school he would attend. Now, the 21-year-old from Sewell, New Jersey is fighting for his life after apparently being severely beaten while on a trip to Mexico.
Rucker went to Cancun with a friend to celebrate his graduation from Rutgers University. The pre-law student arrived in Cancun on March 15 and went out for a evening on the town. His friend tells Eyewitness News he and Rucker parted ways to return to their rooms for the night. Rucker, however, decided to sleep on a lounge chair near the hotel's swimming pool.
Rucker's friend said the hotel told him that a security guard talked to Rucker at about 3 a.m. and he said he was told Rucker was found injured in the grass 30 to 40 feet away from the pool at 4 a.m. on March 16.

Wishing misfortune on anyone is not a good policy IMHO
Probably got into a fight with another drunk spring breaker who found him passed out by the pool.
You had better chastise the others sweetie.
One less lawyer with ZERO sense.
Help! I’m drunk and stupid and I’ve fallen down and can’t get up!
More like a cesspool. There is nothing there I care to see.
Thanks, Mexico!!!
It’s getting fast and furious down there, isn’t it?
Someone on FR was telling me the other day how safe it is in Cancun.
Possibly.
But 16% of the population there knows how to capitalize properly, which puts them WAY ahead of you.
I am confidant that over at the DU they think all Freepers are a-holes, but I disagree. Right now I can think of two.
I gotta wonder to myself about people who make comments like the ones here. This site is great but it does attract some idiots who say shit I bet they don’t have the stones to say in real life. Pathetic.
The beachfront hotel was loaded with drunk spring breakers. No one will know the real story of what happened.
“The beachfront hotel was loaded with drunk spring breakers. No one will know the real story of what happened.”
A bit of ‘what happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico’, eh?
Well, except for their population and crime...
See post # 12 and realize why lots of folks think we illiterate retards.
Write like an adult or STFU.
Getting stoned and sleeping on the beach may be cool back home but it’s a bad idea in a tird world country.
That happens to folks who don't change them regularly.
Jerk.
With these two sentences under your belt I would imagine you are now going to STFU according to your own rules.
Nahh, not rules. Just suggestions.
Nobody likes to read crap that fails to follow capitalization or punctuation rules.
Typos are a different issue.
Does anyone find this story somewhat less than entirely believable?
