I’ll bet that the young-people see that they are going to be saddled with the pain for their parent’s mistakes and aren’t too thrilled about it.
Mainly because people are sick of all the nastiness that mooching foreigners have brought with them.
We are about forty years behind here. The socialism effort has failed miserably in Europe. They finally have come to the conclusion that they can’t afford it. And here we are, we are going to try it because 52% of us thought in 2008 that it would be so noble and so wonderful to equalize everything and everybody. What these people do not understand is that we will no longer invent things and come up with innovations. And that will hurt them too. Eventually. The chickens will come home to roost. I can’t wait until my affluent liberal in-laws will wake up one day realizing that it was all a sham and we conservatives were right all along. I just wish all my fellow conservatives didn’t have to hurt too.

It's the only way they'll survive. It's the only way the U.S. can survive. The ugly face of socialism has been exposed.
Except that the European right is quite different from the American Right. Both Lefts are the same though....communists, looters, moochers and totalitarians.
The guy who wrote this article seems to think that the SNP is a ‘Right Wing’ Party. They are just Tartan-flavoured social democrats, competing with Labour for the same core vote of the left-leaning working class and middle-class ‘progressives’.
A similar thing could also be said for the BNP, which has a socialist economic agenda and is similarly competing with Labour for its core vote amongst the working classes, but with a dash of racism thrown in....
Most of the ‘right’ in Europe wouldn’t pass muster here.
