Cereal Killers on America’s Most Wanted.

“Ronald McDonald on trial for...Crimes against Humanity!”
Ok, I seriously LOL’d at that line.

We’re 20 to 30 miles away from any fast food, so it’s never been an issue for us. Sonic burgers are a TREAT- maybe only every 2 months or so.

“the great gumbamma”
OK, I’m really dating myself here but everytime you call him that I think of Pink Floyd’s album : “Umma Gumma”

Come to think of it, like Obammy, that album didn’t make much sense either!

Same here. Most of the burgers are not as good as they used to be anyway. If I want something quick after a hard day of work I would rather order a pizza and have it delivered and then make a salad to go with it. But I'm a freak.

That said, I don't think putting a leash on these big businesses is going to stop people from eating poorly. They will find junk...until the end of time, people will eat junk. Is it just me who sees this? People are people...they will find a way.

The whole healthcare bamboozle was merely a Trojan horse for total govt. control. Because everything can be tied into ‘your health’. Food, work, clothing, political opinion, friends, hobbies, vices etc.

Good point about the cigarette hypocrisy- if it’s so dang bad then why not ban it outright??
Oh no we need the revenue from the taxes! Morons.
OY!

Pags sounded a little better this time around. Beck’s replacements leave something to be desired.

Pat is good because he’s funny. Pags not ever. I still remember the pre-political Beck, with the “Murray Head weekend” etc.

On Today's Program

America still dislikes Obamacare

Chuck Schumer and Democrats hit the Sunday talk show circuit to convince Americans that they are getting a good deal, but a new Gallup Poll reveals that "Nearly two-thirds of Americans say the health care overhaul signed into law last week costs too much and expands the government's role in health care too far." Jamming this bill through despite its unpopularity has also taken a toll on Obama's disapproval rating as it hit 50% for the first time. Read the full story HERE.

Companies bracing for Obamacare

Businesses are not fond of Obamacare either, as three of the nation’s largest employers have reported the healthcare bill will cost their companies billions of dollars. AT&T, John Deer, and Caterpillar have expressed their dismay with the plan. This has left Henry Waxman scratching his head - he and the Marxists who believe spreading the wealth actually works can't understand why companies will suffer. Waxman is so perplexed, he has called these companies to Washington for a hearing (translation: yell at the company CEOs and lecture them on why they are wrong). That should solve it. Read the full story HERE.

Oh, by the way...government has taken over another industry!

Tucked into the healthcare bill was the nationalization of the student loan industry. President Obama has said he's 'eliminated the middle man' in college student loans, making government the primary holder of student loans. The President today managed to vilify yet another company for committing the evil atrocity of making profits. Apparently profits = evil to this president, even though he claimed to be an ardent supporter of the free market. FULL STORY

Heeeeeere comes Cap and Trade

Get the feeling politicians just aren't listening? Government is taking over industries, over regulating, and generally expanding at an alarming rate. After jamming healthcare down America's throat, politicians have not pulled back - they've gone on the offensive. In the cooker now: another crappy climate bill. Get the details HERE.

Some common sense...

So far the news today is pretty depressing (unless you are a Karl Marx supporter). But here's the good news: not everyone in this country is a radical leftist (or being duped by them). Check out all the people who are fired up and like you, are not going to sit by silently as America is fundamentally transformed into a Europe style big government nanny state. Stay informed. Start in your sphere of influence and grow from there.

Glenn is laying out the solutions at American Revival stops. Plus, you can now own Glenn's CPAC speech on DVD and share it with your friends. The DVD includes the entire speech and special bonus features. Check out this clip from the opening of the speech. It's available for pre-order now!

Programming note: Glenn is on vacation all week and will return next Monday. In the meantime, stay updated with everything Glenn via this email newsletter, Facebook, and Twitter - where Glenn has posted many of the reactions to the American Revival show in Orlando over the weekend.
