Goodness.
If you happen to spy that sight whilst looking out your passenger window, it would be best to put down the SkyMall magazine, and pickup a Rosary - you're gonna need it.

EVERETT, Wash., March 28, 2010 During ultimate-load testing at Boeings Everett, Wash., facility, the wings of the 787 Dreamliner were flexed upward by approximately 25 feet (7.6 meters). Engineers are reviewing the detailed test results and report that initial results are promising. The test exposed the airframe to the equivalent of 150 percent of the heaviest load it is ever expected to see while in service.

Almost forgot about this Dreamliner. When was it originally due for flight? A long time ago it seems. And what ever happend to the Euro EADS monster competitor? The whole field of commercial flight seems to have gone dark.

Another P I page says . . .
FlightBlogger's source reported "no funny noises" in the test, according to a Twitter post.

Though they've still got to go through the data...but that's great news for the 787 program.

The wings flex quite a bit during normal flight, too.

I don’t understand.
Your post makes no sense without context.

I gotta admit, that is one graceful-looking bird.

"Your post makes no sense without context." Look at the wings on that aircraft. This is the final "flight" test of the aircraft. Can you imagine seeing the wings on your aircraft do that while traveling in it?
If you do, your plan has some problems.
To: ThomasThomas
anyone who hasn’t seen the 707 barrel roll video on youtube, it’s definitely worth a gander.

Is Michael Moore on that thing?

I went through grade school with the twin children of a senior VP of one of the big airlines. He had flown in WW2 and was involved in the acceptance trials for the L1011 jumbo jet. He was at the controls and asked if it could do a barrel role and then proceeded to do one. Crazy man, but they bought a bunch of the planes, so all was forgiven.
