PALIN: The point here is that Senator McCain and I agree on the big picture, where it is that the country needs to go. There are so many challenges facing America right now, and Senator McCain has been on the right track trying to get the country back on that track that will lead to more prosperity, more security for this nation. We agree on those things that have to take place in order for us to kind of undo some of the things that Obama is doing and get us back on that right track towards prosperity and security.

PALIN: Absolutely. And that's why we're making a point to point out that Tea Party leaders are not opposing John McCain. They're supporting his mission, too, and that's to rein in the growth of government. Tea Party -- tea partiers, bottom line, are saying, We're taxed enough already, and that's what John McCain is saying, too.
I'm proud to be part of the Tea Party movement. I'm wearing my Tea Party necklace today, even. I was proud to get to point out Tea Party movement participants in the crowd today. They're here cheering on John McCain because they know, at the end of the day, we're all fighting for the same thing. We're fighting for the future of this great country. So he is part of the Tea Party movement. And yes, they're going to be very impacting. They're going to be impacting for John.

Palin is a RINO.
From National Review 3-26-2010 - how McCain & Graham gave terrorists Constitutional rights - while you lost your Constitutional rights the other day:
“That is what Senator Graham did in 2005. Along with Sen. John McCain and other grandstanding Republicans, he gave cover to the Lefts torture demagoguery by spearheading enactment of the McCain Amendment. Under the rubric of cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment, that provision vested alien enemies held overseas with constitutional rights against coercive interrogation.”
McCain does not stand up to Obama because he supports him. People are fools to believe this s**t.
The Tea Party people and anti-amnesty people probably have an 80% crossover. McCain called people who were against amnesty “racists.” A typical Alinsky tactic.
Cronyism over principle.
Pls! ...more like she pays her debts.
An endorsement with a wink.
I guess Palin thinks the Tea Party Movement supports Illegal Alien Amnesty, Terrorist Amnesty, Cap And Trade, “Reach Across The Aisle”, and seizing our Vitamins.....
Yes, Palin is a Liberal RINO.....and the Tea PArty Movement is supporting and voting for JD Hayworth in 2010....and not for Palin in 2012
She’s 100% WRONG on this issue. She can kiss it goodbye now. He is part of the problem we are facing now. She needs to just zip it and do the US a favor and let this RINO be put out to pasture.
We all make mistakes, and Sarah is only human, but it doesn’t take much for some people to jump ship, does it? One down and how many more to go? Very sad!
When someone says this is who I am and this is what I believe then we must take that as being true. It is risky to discount what someone is saying and sort of say, “they don’t mean it.”
Tell that to the tens of thousands of American's and their families, who are victims of rape, murder, robbery, ID theft, burglary, and drunk driving at the hands of illegal aliens.
She is aiding and abetting a known open borders, pro-amnesty politician.
“...GET THE HELL OFF FR if you don’t like it, but whatever you do quit your damn whining and pestering good conservative FReepers about your hatred for Sarah Palin!! It’s beyond sickening.

Just thought I’d reprint part of Jim’s post to BobJ. It’s so delightful to read and says everything I want to say.
Who are these Tea Party leaders?
I guess it really doesn’t matter just remember, vote early and vote often but whatever you do vote GOP and support the ‘big picture’.
But she also said in a recent interview with FoxNews’ Greta Van Susteren that conservatives shouldn’t be holding Hands with the leftwing democrats. So while she’s returning a favor to McCain by campaigning for him, she’s also distancing herself from him and other RINOs with that remark.
Video of the recent interview:

Palin quit as Governor. I think the endorsement shows more weakness on McCain’s part than Palin’s.
If Gov Palin, a self-claimed Conservative, doesn’t back JD Hayworth, another Conservative, it makes one wonder who is holding the gun to her head?!
You are brave to post this.
It pains me to read Sarah’s own words on this. Politely paying back a favor is one thing - but this is just not right. She is making an uncomfortable bed that she’s going to have to lay in now. I think this comes from political inexperience - it’s a mistake. Every time she praises McCain - her words will come back to haunt her.
“... 100% WRONG...”
Agreed. It appears she is not above “politics as usual”-I think she does herself a great disservice with her support of McS-—thead. Doesn’t she remember how Mc’s staff treated her, and does she think that he had nothing to do with it? Paying a campaign debt? Puhleeze!
