Medicare denies claims and treatment more than any private insurance company, and you have no recourse whatever.

Not true.

You can fill out a grievance form. And you can probably get a response within 12-to-24 months. It will, most likely, be declined. Then you can fill out another form and request a hearing on the matter. You should then get a decision withing 12-to-24 months to allow the hearing. After the hearing, you should get a decision within 30 days.

;)

You are right Tom

You can appeal when Medicare denies you treatment..I have been seeing a group of ENT doctors for nine months, and have been considered for a ‘cochlear implant’(just like El Rushbo)!!
MEDICARE DENIDE ME THE SURGERY...It was appealed and I WON...
On March 15th I had a cochlear implant and on TAX DAY, APRIL 15...will be my HEARING DAY, when I am fitted with the processor to allow me to once again hear...
I am so excited and thankful...when I learned Medicare denied me I wanted to go to Washington and pull out the hair of ever one in Congress...I was angry and Prayer, faith and family got me through...
so folks fight Medicare and this government all the way..Don't settle for less...
