I don’t believe in Global Warming.
I don’t believe that turning our lights out for an hour will help save the planet.
But I don’t believe in needless waste either....

There will be so many houses on around my place, I hope some planes don’t think it is an airport.

Update your Facebook status to remind people how technology helps their lives.
Also, a good thing to remind people of is that the power spike from everyone turning all their lights back on after Earth Hour uses more electricity than what they saved turning them off during that time. Sidney actually had a ‘brown out’ after one Earth Hour from the power spike.

My electric smoker in on putting a rack of ribs to a OMG perfection. Dishwasher, washer and dryer on on and the drone of a ceiling fan is wafting global warming though out the town.

I’m turning on the lights, then I’m drinking a toast to Tom Edison and the folks who run the local power plant!

Force of Darkness “Earth Hour” Challenged by Power of Light “Human Achievement Hour”
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2481138/posts
The Competitive Enterprise Institute, a leading free-market think tank, will celebrate the Second Annual “Human Achievement Hour” between 8:30pm and 9:30pm on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
“Earth Hour’s creators suggest that human inventions and technology are a problem, but we see the ability to create and innovate as the ultimate resource,” says Human Achievement Hour founder and CEI Policy Analyst Michelle Minton. “Environmental challenges will not be solved by turning off our lights and symbolically hiding in the dark,” Minton added. “If anything, we should be looking to technology and innovation to help solve environmental problems.”

Earth Hour Alert Reminder: 8:30 PM (your time) Your hour to shine, TURN ALL YOUR LIGHTS ON!
Heh. Turn on all your lights and electrical appliances, let the children play with the garage door opener; don't forget to leave the refrigerator door open for the entire hour. As a bonus, heat the kitchen with a 500 degree oven, and run the air conditioner at the same time. We can do it! Yes, we can!
