No, it seems that he actually is a Marine. And a Sgt. He just seems to have lied about going to Iraq. He definitely is a leftist. An 0bama Zombie. Sad isn’t it? The old Marines I know wouldn’t whiz on this guy if he was on fire.
I’m a bit late to the discussion - but I did locate another quote by this marine that appears to confirm he is indeed an Obama supporter.
Many of his other comments show he is an avid basher of Tea Partiers, and definitely a lefty.

There is no law forbidding us from donating to political campaigns or even attending political rallies, no matter what the content; provided we don’t display any representation of the military such as wearing our uniforms, or imply that the military is endorsing a particular candidate. We’re not allowed to use our military credential to substantiate our political beliefs or to imply that the military is endorsing a certain political stance.
In other words, I as Mr. Calbat can say I support President Obama.
Sgt Calbat however supports the US Government.
