I’m a registered Republican.
Not elite, but who the heck is David Frum?!

(Actually, I’ve heard the name. What’s the loss?)

Whatever.

Wish that had been his gig all along.

Disarray? These guys are nuts.

All our guys voted the same way, it was the Democrats that didn’t.

That is my definition of Disarray.

I want you to know that I’m not in disarray because Frum was sack because of his own stupidity.

Good thing that the republican GOP elite is worlds away from the conservative elite.

Frum has been ‘passing’ as Republican/conservative for too long now. Good for AEI !!

Like David Gergen, he’s the guy the MSM go to for the ‘conservative’ or ‘Republican’ perspective which rarely (if ever) actually matches REAL Republicans’ or conservatives’ views.

Rino disarray, good. Frum’s gone away, even better! What’s not to like.

The GOP has been following Frum's strategy ever since 1913. It hasn't been working. All of the intolerable acts are still mostly in effect, and become ever more entrenched as time goes by.

The moral of the story is that you can't win a war by conceding each victory by you opponents as final and irreversible, nor by negotiating away the principles that define your philosophy and justify your existence as a movement.

“Neocon” has lost all meaning in modern politics.

The original “Neocons” were Democrats who rejected the pacifism and the cultural anarchy of the Left during the 1960’s and early 1970’s.

Although many of them migrated to the Republican Party, none of them ever renounced their philosophical attachment to Socialism.

“Neocons” are not moderate Conservatives.

They are disaffected, former Democrats.

I don’t think the Republican stand was a disaster - the whole health care process was going to be a cram down from the very start.

Why participate in that?

I agree. We’re the party of “Oh HELL no!” and I’m proud of that. When someone drives over a cliff, someone else needs to stomp on the brakes.

Thanks for posting the link.

Frum apparently thought his job at AEI was an entitlement. Rather than do the sensible thing when fired for cause, he decided to manufacture nonsense about "AEI bowing to political pressure," "no tolerance in the conservative movement," "lunatics running the asylum," etc, etc, ad nauseam.

Now Britain's reliably irrelevant crap factory has weighed in with an "article" blathering on both Frum's aspersions and the author's own wishful thinking. The chief danger in the piece is that people across The Pond will read it and actually think some of it true.

Meanwhile, David will cast about to become a "conservative voice" on CNN or MSNBC, where his febrile asseverations will be met by the noddings of serious heads. Fortunately for the cause, there are literally paper-boys who deliver news to more households than MSNBC.

[In the wake of the atrocity, David Brooks has turned to buying his Depends® at Costco. Surely an avid defense by our gal Kathleen Parker can only be hours or minutes away!]

OMG — we're in "disarray" because we have one less RINO driving the bus of Conservative Compromise. Yeah, right.

Barring Parliamentary trickery and deceit by Obama/Reid/Pelosi, true Conservatism won — and is still winning — the ObamaCare debate. We will defund/replace/repeal ObamaCare starting by winning in November.

You do not compromise on Abortion or with Socialism!

Compromising Conservatives ... be gone! Your "cure" is as bad as a prescription written by Obama himself.

I guess half a conservative is better than none.

Was he conservative from the waist up, or the waist down?
