This has nothing to do with “the Bush administration” as this piece would have you believe.
Davianna Frummington decided at some point that he hates conservatives. There is no place for him in an organization dedicated to freedom. It’s that simple.

Frum condemned Republicans' attitude of
"no negotiations, no compromise, nothing" with Democrats, urged Republicans stay the course, defer to the Democrats as usual.
"Keep of trucklin'," was Mr. Frum's advice for Republicans.

They sacked Frum because he was a poseur. Frum has made a career out of pretending to be “Conservative” while being a reliable toady for the Established Media's latest talking point. The notion that “conservatives are in disarray” because a faux Conservative progressive mole like Frum was purged from our ranks is absurd nonsense.

I’m for more disarray if it means less elitists, across-the-aisle enablers and counterfeit conservatives in the Republican Party.

Frum? Well, I guess half a conservative is better than none.
Well ... not really! :)

I don’t know about the Republican elite. I guess I don’t care. I can’t imagine any conservatives giving Frum a thought.

Such thinking is the result of "issues-oriented" debate, accompanied by speechwriter "sound bites" and "catch phrases," instead of well-reasoned and
principled debate, such as that at the founding of America.
The Trojan Horse just used by the "progressives" (regressives) to accumulate power to themselves was called "health care reform." The mistake by the Republicans was that they allowed it to be promoted as being about "health care."
The principled debate should have been about liberty versus tyranny; about government control and redistribution of wealth versus individual responsibility and rights versus dependency on an elite bureaucracy and political power structure.
Frum is irrelevant.

If Bush had dumped Frum 8 years ago, and gotten an adviser who understood the importance of countering media attacks, we wouldn’t have 0 as a president now. Frum stood by while the MSM savaged GWB and didn’t correct their false charges. Good riddance Frum, albeit 8 years late.

I looked at this because I was prepared to read that it was the party's fault for nominating all the Liberals in the 2008 election. McCain was a terrible candidate. We had few appealing conservatives out front anywhere by design--we needed to repudiate the Bush record on spending, invasion of personal and constitutional rights; closing the borders; the need to profile to identify possible terrorists within the borders; ineffective foreign policy.
That record was accumulated with the active support of the National Party officials and we should have repudiated them long ago. The good news is that a time of reckoning is at hand.
Frum on the other hand is a joke. This is an argument that we shouldn't attempt to hang the Liberals with their effort; that's nonsense.

LMAO, yeah, we’re in quite the tizzy in Neanderthal land. We’ve lost our spiritual leader. And I need to read this article like I need to chase the Tyrannasauri out of my back yard. This is like saying the NY Yankees are distraught over the ingrown toenail of a local little league player.
