Two years ago, John McCain transformed Sarah Palin overnight from an obscure first-term Alaska governor into a national celebrity when he picked her as his vice presidential running mate.
Now Palin is repaying the favor, putting her prestige on the line in an effort to help the four-term Arizona senator overcome his toughest re-election challenge ever.
The two campaigned together Friday for the first time since they lost the presidential race in 2008.
At the first of two rallies this weekend, Palin pumped up Tea Partiers, invoking the cause of the first Tea Party in 1773.
"Remember it was the Freedom Fighters and those who protested tyranny and big government," she said. "And that's what we're doing today."
"And when you think about that first Tea Party, shoot, some may claim that John was there, at the first Tea Party," she said with a laugh, poking fun at McCain's age. McCain, who is 73, grinned widely beside her.

The reason for the criticism against Palin is McCain’s status as a RINO, not the nature of his campaign.
He was a RINO then and he’s a RINO now.
If we should reject those who support McCain, there’s a long list and I don’t think you would be willing to stick to the list.
So this argument goes down the drain.

The basic strategy for a mole is to take on the appearance of that which he intends to infiltrate, in all aspects except for one.
That's me! You caught me! Now report me!

IF Sarah didn’t think McCain was worth supporting, she should not have agreed to run with him in 2008.
Loyalty is an admirable quality in my book.

They are many here who never supported Sarah - and they come out like roaches on a Sarah thread. And their talking point NOW is - I used to like her, etc., etc. That’s just new talking points.
It’s a liberal tactic - reminiscent of those that would call in and say - ‘I am a Republican and will never vote for one again’. Like anyone really believed WHAT they really were.
Conservatives KNOW their own. These jellyfish here are just that and couldn’t hold a candle to SARAH!
GO SARAH - Keep exposing the dead fish!

Thanks.
Have a nice time trying to come up with a viable argument.

Sarah's got MORE guts and glory than you can even wish to have. You were against "HER" - feminine Sarah - before she backed McCain.
Go SARAH!
You posted to the wrong person. I didn't make the comment you refer to in post #425.

I don’t know if you’re a mole.
If you are, you’re a coward and a second rate thinker who can’t come up with an ideology that can run on its own merits.
If you aren’t, you merely have a bad case of tunnelvision.

LOYALTY - something that CONSERVATIVES HAVE and SEE in others.
Going through this thread one can see those with 'conservative masks' on with their liberal tactics in play.
Make a list of them and you will see them on every SARAH thread - complete w/their joker 'conservative mask'.

“Im just waiting for a good argument against Palin for her support of McCain.”
No you aren’t.

then by your definition you’re not a conservative, since you think Sarah should turn her back on McCain.

I dont know if youre a mole.
I confess! I am a mole! You caught after nearly five years at FR you have been able to accomplish what the FR powers to be failed to detect! Congratulations! Now hurry and click on that report abuse button!
If you are, youre a coward and a second rate thinker who cant come up with an ideology that can run on its own merits.
Keep isolating the target with any accusation that pops into your head! Nice going Saul Alinsky Jr!
If you arent, you merely have a bad case of tunnelvision.
On the contrary. My field of vision is wide enough to see the depth of your hypocrisy by giving Palin a pass on stumping for a flaming socialist while ridiculing Conservatives who refuse to support someone endorsing a socialist.

“Conservatives KNOW their own. These jellyfish here are just that and couldnt hold a candle to SARAH!”
Conservatives do know their own and conservatives don’t support bridges to nowhere and “windfall” taxes.
We also don’t support John McCain. Face it - Sarah Palin is a Republican politician, not a conservative stalwart.

I am probably in the top ten of the most conservative posters here at Free Republic. You must be a psychopath. You certainly act like one.

You know what's really funny about these Sarah-bots? They are really working very hard to defend McCain. They don't see it but that's the end result of this.
Their over the top arguments FOR Palin are the very same arguments the GOP used to shove McCain down our throats.
