OKLAHOMA CITY -- Are extremist groups like the Ku Klux Klan experiencing a resurgence in Oklahoma? A website called HateTrackers.com, noted on KTOK's "Mark Shannon Show" by guest host Lee Matthews on Thursday afternoon, brought the new site, connected to a webbie known as "Gossip Boy" to the attention of Red Dirt Report.
As we have seen in the tragic case of Cynthia Lynch, a troubled woman from Tulsa who traveled to St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana to be initiated into the Sons of Dixie Brotherhood chapter of the KKK and was subsequently murdered when she tried to back out of the initiation.
The alleged murderers were apprehended and according to a report in the Slidell Sentry newspaper in Louisiana, the trial of accused murderer, Raymond "Chuck" Foster, has been scheduled to begin April 5, 2010.
Notes HateTrackers.com in a March 5, 2010 report: As membership climbs rapidly in the state, eight klaverns involved in the United White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan will be gathering in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on March 20 beginning at 11 a.m.

I’m thinking there are a lot of new “klansmen” who are more confortable wearing purple t-shirts than white sheets.
There was a “white pride” march in Jackson Michigan last week that consisted of a whopping crowd of 10 racists.
Funny thing is that these 10 “racists” have managed to stir the passions of hundreds for nearly a week. Now local churches are having some kind of unity march. Its almost as if a community organizer had been involved.
If so, how would they permit a reluctant initiate to be murdered?
Are the churches into the Klan or are they trying to apologize to the group of 100 or so black people that the 10 racists attracted?
gee, THIS doesn’t fit the media template from the last 72 hours or anything /sarc
The Rats are nothing BUT lefty liberals now it seems. I’d think that, like Ronald Reagan, a Rat discomfited by the liberals will become a Republican.
Nope. Not in Oklahoma, not anywhere. The consensus is that there are maybe 2000 KKK members in the U.S. and 10% of them are actually moles from various law enforcement agencies.
If they had anything to say or do, they would have made the effort during the Duke Rape Hoax or the recent New Black Panther voter intimidation incident.
Why of course the “knowledgeable news” would focus on “extreme rightists.” Though funny there is no mention about political party affiliation. If this was Republicans they would be trumpeting it to high heaven.
Could you please cite the last KKK member to be charged with murder (of an initiate or anyone else). A member. Not someone from a group “linked to the KKK”.
The churches are showing unity against the horrifying racism that traveled half way across the state to display itself. (Again, 10 people for an hour)
We aren’t known for being a hotbed of racial tension but somebody sure wanted us to be.
I thought the KKK was primarily Democrats that didn’t like the Republicans freeing slaves.
Was Democrat Senator Robert Byrd there?
>> The Rats are nothing BUT lefty liberals now it seems.
It’s so bad, these Lefty turds give Liberalism a bad name.
So this blog was written on March 26. speaks of a klan meeting that is going to happen on March 20?
How sloppy
did the blogger find out if the meeting was held?
As much as I sometimes hate it our freedom fo speech allows for the freaks and freaks like that fake church in Wichita KS and freaks like Farrakhan and Wright
It’s the midget KKK you have to worry about!

The media is suddenly finding it fasionable to report on the Michigan Militia again. There have been two stories in the Ann Arbor news this week.
Funny thing was thayt one of the stories was kind of a “where are they now” piece and the other was about a local police department getting their help in a search for a person missing in the woods.
Similarly, see growth in nation of Islam and the NAACP. Same goals, different races.
At the end, I tried to do a follow-up with local police departments. Yes, this event did happen, allegedly. this was a follow-up report.
Now THAT is a poorly written sentence.
You make a good point. The Left loves to tilt at windmills but what mischief has the Klan caused lately? ...Less than the Southern Poverty Law Center for sure.
