Tea Partyers' Political Anger Isn't Harmless (Gigantic Colossal Barf Alert!!!
Investors.com ^ | March 25, 2010 | Left wing lunatic EUGENE ROBINSON

Let's not pretend anymore that the Tea Party movement is harmless. The right to protest is one of our cherished American freedoms.

But there is no right to vandalism, no right to threaten our elected officials' lives. Someone is going to get hurt unless those who lead the movement — and those who exploit it — start acting like responsible adults.

What are the chances of that?

It was Sarah Palin, the Eva Peron of the Tea Party crowd, who used Facebook to target 20 Democrats who voted for health care reform, indicating their districts' locations on a map with the cross hairs of a rifle scope. It was Palin who wrote on Twitter: "Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: 'Don't Retreat, Instead — RELOAD!' Pls see my Facebook page."

That anyone still listens to this person is one of the most unfortunate unintended consequences of social networking.

At least 10 House Democrats have had to request additional security following Sunday's health care vote. Someone left a coffin on the lawn of Rep. Russ Carnahan's home in Missouri. Glass doors and windows were broken at the district offices of Reps. Louise Slaughter of New York and Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona. Vandals have damaged Democratic Party offices in Wichita Kan., Rochester, N.Y., and Cincinnati.

And Rep. Bart Stupak of Michigan, whose last-minute compromise on abortion funding guaranteed final passage of the reform act, has received a flood of abusive phone calls at his office and home. Someone faxed him a drawing of a noose.

Frequently (more than frequently) a Freeper thread will be read more often than the original blog ~ so don’t waste your time at the blog. To the degree people look for the topic on any of the major search engines they’ll come to your answer here.

They dish it out,,and when it is returned in kind,,,they whine like a bunch of babies....”if don’t agtee with me, you’re so mean and hateful” waaawaaawaa!

The point these posters are trying to make is that these are likely phony, staged events done by Dems to frame us.

When did this happen?

Was it reported?

Cause of fire investigated and reported?

I don't need to ask why I didn't hear about it on TV news.

Absolutely.

That cynical reply of the Newsweek editor to Brent Bozell's question (Bozell had to corner the guy), why didn't they cover the murder of Jesse Dirkhising in Indiana by two gay men, applies here.

"It didn't resonate."

Dirkhising's murder was penecontemporaneous with that of Matthew Shepard in Wyoming, about which we heard endlessly for weeks and months and which made the covers of all the newsweeklies.

But Jesse's death-agony didn't count. His story didn't resonate with the gay agenda the media drones were pushing.

To: Kaslin; All

I really don’t think the Democrats (politicians or moron voters) quite grasp that we are fine to debate ‘political points”, except when you are attempting to TAKE OUR CONSITUTIONAL RIGHTS!

They don’t understand that it is not something we will just sit back and discuss and wait for another vote.

No, I will physically refuse for my constitutional rights to be violated. Included the Federal government saying I must give another entity (corporation) money in order to avoid legal punishment.

They are SO STUPID, that all day I have been trying to explain the difference when they say “you pay taxes for services...”

Uh yeah ya moron, that is paying TAXES. This is paying ANOTHER LEGAL ENTITY as a hostage of the government.

By the way, no one, not one single lib has answered my question no matter how much I plead with them to get a yes or no (which tells you that’s it’s a no) if they would be just fine with this bill if George W. Bush and a Republican majority signed it into law saying they must purchase a health insurance policy. Not one has answered. They would be SCREAMING “Greedy Republicans in bed with big corporate, blah blah blah” but since a “D” is beside his name, it’s all okey dokey. Hypocrites.

By the way, I think I intend to delete them. Even though they are my Facebook friends due to another group that is largely liberal dominated, I don’t need their stupid posts.

I got this one.

ALF = Animal Liberation Front.

ELF = Earth Liberation Front.

CSP = Damned if I know, probably some "progressive" liberation group I am unaware of. Communists searching for peace?

I look at this picture and I know people would be intimidated to go in. I don't want to minimize that point. But I wouldn't be. You go up and start talking with them.

"How's it going?"
"Nice day today, great day to vote."
"Who are you voting for?"
"You did vote didn't you?"
"Yea, I was thinking of Obama but I am voting McCain instead."
"Have a great day. Nice to see you here making sure everyone is safe."

What is the guy going to do, start beating on you. Not likely.

Pictures can be deceiving. Check this quote from the WSJ...

"The episode—which Bartle Bull, a former civil rights lawyer and publisher of the left-wing Village Voice, calls "the most blatant form of voter intimidation I've ever seen"—began on Election Day 2008."

This guy was down south witnessing voter supression back in the sixties and IMHO if he thinks this incident was THE WORST he has seen, they must have been behaving like psychos.

The GOP needs to mock and laugh at the ridiculous charges.

Make fun of the pathetic stories and make it a joke.

Why do the GOP leader give serious answers to these phony charges.

The Gop leaders fall for every alinsky tactic.

The dummy Mike Steele is the chief fool.

Please don't post obscure acronyms and abbreviations w/o explanation, okay?

No promises. If you are not aware of the acronyms (they are not abbreviations) a simple step would be to copy and paste the URLs into a web browser and review the larger articles.

Additionally, if you are not aware that ALF is the common name for the animal liberation front - a group that has attacked research institutions, and that ELF is a common acronym for the earth liberation front - a group that has spiked trees and burned developments in the name of "conservation" then you might want to crawl out from under your rock...

Not trying to be an @$$, just saying the acronyms are not obscure and that simply following the links provided could have answered your questions.

Save the etiquite lessons for someone else...

Best regards.

Oh, didn't you get the memo? As per Madonna, that was just a "metaphor" - it wasn't real violence, and that isn't a burned-out church you see, it's all just an illusion, manufactured by the VRWC. (sarcasm alert!)
