Benjamin Netanyahu was left to stew in a White House meeting room for over an hour after President Barack Obama abruptly walked out of tense talks to have supper with his family, it emerged on Thursday.
The snub marked a fresh low in US-Israeli relations and appeared designed to show Mr Netanyahu how low his stock had fallen in Washington after he refused to back down in a row over Jewish construction in east Jerusalem.
The Israeli prime minister arrived at the White House on Tuesday evening brimming with confidence that the worst of the crisis in his country's relationship with the United States was over.

When the Israeli prime minister stalled, Mr Obama rose from his seat declaring: "I'm going to the residential wing to have dinner with Michelle and the girls."
As he left, Mr Netanyahu was told to consider the error of his ways. "I'm still around," Mr Obama is quoted by Israel's Yediot Ahronot newspaper as having said. "Let me know if there is anything new."

Meeting with the Republicans would now be a perfect move. Israel could see who the real allies are, plus it would send the message that Bibi is dealing with those who will be in power in the near future.
Obama must watch the history channel. This is similar to the way Hitler treated the one-time leader of Austria and the Czech President.
Bibi is a true leader. He had to come and face evil even if he personally doesn't want to. By contrast, Obama, a false prophet, will always shy away from anything that he can't control.
No it isn’t. God will hear His people’s cry once again...
Obambi is one weird person!
Yes, please!!
Most of them are liberal. At least here in the northeast. Can't figure that out...
We have a drooling, pouting, spoiled, immature little baby running our foreign policy.
Did Obama stick his tongue out at Bibi as he left?
What class.
Why am I not surprised? How inspiring to know that our president is a total jerk.
Wake up leftie American Jews. If American conservatives are destroyed, so too will Israel be. Please, don’t repeat your mistake in 2012 of voting for this man in huge numbers a second time.
I remember reading about the phenomenon of the “self-hating Jew” that was common in Jewish literature in the 1920s and 1930s. Are we now seeing another manifestation of this or are these people really duped? Thank God some Jews have bucked the trend and refused to join the Dark Side.
That is a good question, and I do not have an answer. From where does the funding for the Palestinian Authority come? I thought most of it came from Saudi Arabia and Egypt, but this is only a guess. The whole world seems to be against Israel, and until today, America was its own ally.
Just sent to both McCain and Lieberman’s offices
Sen. McCain and Sen. Lieberman both asked the White House to tone down the rhetoric this administration is taking towards Israel. Does the Senator have a comment on the disrespectful, tasteless and crass way the Prime Minister of Israel was treated at the White House last night?
Benjamin Netanyahu was left to stew in a White House meeting room for over an hour after President Barack Obama abruptly walked out of tense talks to have supper with his family, it emerged on Thursday....con’t
But Mr Obama was less inclined to be so conciliatory. He immediately presented Mr Netanyahu with a list of 13 demands designed both to the end the feud with his administration and to build Palestinian confidence ahead of the resumption of peace talks. Key among those demands was a previously-made call to halt all new settlement construction in east Jerusalem.

Senator Lieberman, this is not the way to treat an ally and friend of America it is shameful and an embarrassment to every American.
Having already asked the administration to tone down the rhetoric on Israel, will you now demand that the President make a public apology to the Prime Minister?
Sincerely,

That is not on Bibi...that is on Obama.
American pays billions of dollars to the PA through direct funding and through the UN.
Boy, I wish we could have Bibi as our President rather than the arrogant Marxist we currently have.
Indeed He will!
