US Vice-President Joe Biden has let rip another of his legendary gaffes at a crucial moment for the Obama administration, whispering a profanity to the President right before Obama signed his $940 billion health care overhaul into law.
After introducing Obama at the White House signing ceremony, the two men pulled close in an embrace and Biden could be heard whispering This is a big f--king deal to his boss.
According to a blog on the Wall Street Journal, a T-shirt featuring the exclamation was available just hours later.
"Yes Mr Vice-President, you're right..." White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs shot back via a Twitter message an hour later.
Obama did not have any visible reaction. He went on to deliver his own profanity-free remarks and signed the legislation shortly before noon.

O’Reilly doesn’t think We The People can stay mad over the DeathCare through the election.
He’s very very wrong!
Perfect.
Biden is Obama’s court jester.
So how many gigantic gaffes is Biden up to now? 20?
I hate the media. Imagine where we'd be today if Gore hadn't invented the internet. < shudder>
I am wary of thoughts of impeaching Obama unless Joe goes first.
I think Joe is seriously mental and may have the IQ of tsetse fly.
He has secured his place in history.
It wasn’t a slip-up. Jerkface biden is a foul mouthed moron.
Wrongo, Billy Boy! Everyone I visit with can't wait until November.
It sure wasn't.
How does a low-class blowhard like Biden rise to that level?
Scum does rise to the top of a stagnant pond, doesn't it?
Hah! Joe wears the Cone of Shame!
ABC radio news just ran a blurb on this. Their spin was that it was a moment of lighthearted fun. No doubt they would have treated it the same way if it had been Cheney.
Newt was on Hannity, and he said what struck him was not the profanity, but the attitude that they were treating it like they won a baseball game or something.
He said, why didn’t he say what a win for the people or such?
In the 2000 election campaign Bush, not knowing a mike was on, commented to Cheney that NY Times correspondent Adam Clymer was a first rate a**hole and Cheney responded, "Big time." It was all over the news for quite a while. Clymer even became slang for the term a**hole.
I thought that was one of the funniest things I had seen in years....
He had that many?
Who knew?
He should remove the word “deal.” As usual, Biden is using more words than needed.
