(CNN) -- Someone shouted "baby killer" Sunday as an anti-abortion Democratic congressman was speaking on the House floor shortly after the chamber passed a sweeping health care reform bill with his help.
It wasn't clear from whom the shout came.
Rep. Bart Stupak, who opposed the bill over its abortion language until he reached a deal with the White House on Sunday, was speaking against a Republican motion to effectively kill the passed legislation Sunday night when several congressmen shouted him down.
As the speaker asked for the interruptions to stop, someone yelled "baby killer."
Congressmen groaned, and someone shouted, "Who said that?"

And if I ever encounter one of those sorry-sons-of-low-life-women, I'll say it again.
If you kill babies, what does that make you??
They worship the murder of the unborn for crying out loud!!
Getting voted out isn’t enough. It is time for recrimination. These people should wear the scarlet letter the rest of their lives. No one to hire or pay them or their extended family for any task. Denial of congressional pension and benefits as well.
>> Congressmen groaned, and someone shouted, “Who said that?”
Let’s just say it was the voice of the unborn.
Action. That is what I have been waiting for. Marching to DC and standing outside buildings and in empty offices showed how ineffective that was.
Pick up the pitchforks and let’s march to Washington.
I said it, @$$h01e. Come and stop me.
hahaha
I prefer "...you baby killing SON OF A BITCH!"
But I am with you on starting over:
Now, when do we torch the Capitol and start all over?
Got a light?
Hate to say it but you did before this bill - you just didn’t have as direct a path as there will be now...
Every time you give your money to someone else, they can use it, distribute it, spend it any way they want. If you say it’s against the law, we now have seen just how well these criminals in congress follow the law...
the old rules of safe districts have been thrown out the window. Mass was considered a safe seat for the dems. they lost that, Nj was considered a safe seat for the dems they lost that.
the coming storm will wash away many dems that thought they were “safe” as well as many GOPers/rinos that thought they were safe.
