It looks like pro-life Democrat Bart Stupak has lied to Americans in opposition to the current health care bill. He never intended to vote against the legislation when it came down to final vote. Listen to this video of Bart Stupak recorded last year, when he was unaware he was being recorded.

Of course they were all going to vote for this monstrosity. The holdouts are just smarter than the others, because they are getting their sweetheart deals. Oh, and if anyone believes the sweetheart deals are only “pork” for the holdouts’ districts, dream on. Without any doubt whatsoever, there is under-the-table money for these individuals changing hands in some form or fashion. Don’t believe it? Just remember that idiot Jefferson who got caught with cash in his freezer. And remember Duke Cunningham, politically a solid conservative. Do you really think those were isolated cases?
This was nothing but a PR stunt, how can we believe anything else.
Must be a lot in Stupak’s district that we don't know about. He had to impress. Impress he did, in broad daylight with God looking on.
I said from the beginning not to hold out for pro life. Kill the bill entirely.
Now he can say he did this with the promise of an executive order to placate the base.
We divided and that is what did us. Some in pro-life - some in lower taxes, some here some there.
We should have just demanded that they stay away from this because it was all bad. when we split, it gave them the ability to compartmentalize and isolate portions and pass it.
Now what do we do? we are stuck with this until the country collapses, which is what zero wants to begin with.
