Glenn Nye, Loretta Sanchez to Vote No 209 By: Jane Hamsher Saturday March 20, 2010 8:14 pm ... This makes Nancy Pelosis job considerably harder. Sanchezs jump could be a sign that there are members who have been quiet about their positions and hoping theyd never have to take the vote. But with the fear of tough elections ahead looming large, more could follow her lead.

Well, if we can’t conform this let’s just assume it’s true and declare a small victory.

PRAISE THE LORD AND GOD BLESS HIM!
THANK YOU (((( SE Mom ))))
Did Barry ever have mojo??
Seems to me he’s more a party pooper than the cool dude he’d like to be.
Hey everyone,
I can say with some surity that Tennessee Congressman Lincoln Davis is a NO vote. I spoke with a Tea Party buddy who flew on the same plane to DC with him and he confirmed that he indeed was a NO vote. Also, Davis is in a VERY red state and has hopes in his career down the road of running for governor and would never get elected to dog catcher if he voted yes. Firedoglake has him listed as undecided...HE IS A NO VOTE.
Isn’t her district becoming more Vietnamese? Vietnamese tend to be much more conservative.
Latest from FireDogLake:
The numbers just moved our way, not over by any means, but a good sign.

It's interesting that La Raza is standing against, but the Congressional Hispanic Caucus endorsed it Thursday.
Hispanic Dems will vote yes on healthcare (In return for Amnesty- thanks traitors)
From the link...
"Half a dozen members of the CHC held a news conference to announce their support. They were unhappy with language that barred illegal immigrants from accessing the public health insurance exchanges. More than a dozen had threatened to vote against the Senate bill and its companion reconciliation package. The House healthcare bill, which passed by two votes, won the support of every member of the Hispanic Caucus."
Clearly a deal has been cut. Immigration is next.
What district/State?
From FireDogLake.com:
Sanchez voted yes last time. She faces a well-funded GOP challenger, Van Tran, in the 2010 election. Although Obama carried her district by 60%, Schwarzenegger won it in 2006 as did Bush in 2004. It has a growing Vietnamese community, which Tran hopes to capitalize on. They come out and vote in large numbers, and theyre 2-to-1 Republican, he told the Associated Press.
This makes Nancy Pelosis job considerably harder. Sanchezs jump could be a sign that there are members who have been quiet about their positions and hoping theyd never have to take the vote. But with the fear of tough elections ahead looming large, more could follow her lead. I know theres a tendency to look at these votes as carved in stone once members commit publicly, but I fully remember what happened to Ciro Rodriguez during the Cap and Trade vote:
CA - 47 district.
NOTHING offical from her site.
I was asking about Rep. Michael Arcuri.
U.S. Rep. Michael Arcuri (NY-24)
Thanks!
