I think they might want an ‘improved’ senate bill to pass, but it sounds like that they will now be voting on the ‘unimproved’ version. We’ve been told all along that the ‘unimproved’ version has NO chance of passing the house.
Man, I don't know what to think anymore. It seems like they've just kept moving the goalpost to keep the Repubs scrambling.
First they weaseled out of the super majority vote, and went with the simple up or down vote. Which caused all kind of squawking.
Then they threw up this whole reconciliation nonsense and in a final smokescreen they started up with that "Demon Pass" business.
Now, we're supposed to be thrilled that they are thinking about going back to the up or down vote.
The whole thing stinks and just goes to show how corrupt they really are.

I'm not so sure about that. The 222 vote was expressly against and up or down vote. I do not believe they have the votes in the House for the Senate bill. They don't like it and they can have no guarantees that their "reconciliation" bill will ever become law. We will see.
I think it will be used to trick Stupak.

OK, I get it, the president can FIX the bill, wow. Instead of just one, fix everything you don’t like about the creation of congress, Mr. President. Just cuz you say so. You sound more like a dictator.
That gives Stupak an excuse to vote FOR and gives the pro-death people the excuse that they didn't believe Zero so they vote FOR also.
I hope some from both camps peel off because of this.

Dang I am so frustrated with myself today. I didn't buy a bus ticket and head down to DC today because I have work in the shop that needs to be done. But I got so wrapped up in listening/watching everything that has been going on, that I have hardly gotten any of the work done. I knew I should have just gone anyway. I have to get out there and get some of it done now, I'll be back later. Thanks again SE Mom for starting this thread for us, and thanks to all that have been here and active, you don't know how much easier it is for me to deal with all of this, having all of you "here" with me!!! they are talking about using an executive order on abortion to try to pacify the pro life democrats and get them to vote for obamacare (since they can;t agree to an abortion provision in the house and senate)
Your post #707 - because these beasts do ANYTHING they please. It was just a couple or three weeks ago that Obama said “ I will use Executive Orders to pass whatever I need to pass to accomplish MY Agenda”. That is what he is doing!! Only THE PEOPLE doing what is necessary can stop this steamroller. CO
