executive orders are totally unrelated to a bill in congress - executive orders can only apply to those working directly under the control of the executive branch

or so it was before der fuhrer

they are talking about using an executive order on abortion to try to pacify the pro life democrats and get them to vote for obamacare (since they can;t agree to an abortion provision in the house and senate)

I thought they were unrelated too- but what’s he going to do- just write an executive order saying federal funds will not be used for abortions? They’ll lose the 40 votes- or at least a LOT of them.

I’m just baffled how they think this can work...
