I thought maybe at the last minute, you decided to go. It does look like a great rally!
Great pic!! A keeper =)
See my post # 593 ...
My interpretation of Article I, Section 7 and the Supreme Court case [post #593] is that each bill must have the yeas and nays recorded for it [although SCOTUS has yet to decide this question].
If the "Slaughter Rule" is used, they are folding the Senate Bill into the House Concurrent Resolution, voting on the HCR [that "deems" the Senate bill to have passed], then stripping the Senate bill from the HCR, and then sending to the President for signature.
So, the Senate bill [with NO recorded yeas or nays] ends up on the Preisdent's desk.
Seems to violate article I, Section 7.
They just said that now the RATS will make a formal vote?
Confirm? Source from WashPo?
Are there any supporters? Anywhere?
50 yes’s for the rule change, No no’s yet.
Be still my beating heart.
Yes that was it, I wish I could remember which rat it was. The fact that a (supposed) US member of congress can speak like this in public and not be tarred and feathered is not a good sign, but it is very illuminating.
on CSPAN-2: OK george, we'll hook you up on that system right away, maybe a lobotomy is a treatment option!
She got smart with another rep earlier. Called him “the bluebird of happiness”.
He didn’t appreciate it.

I’ve been looking for the WaPo article - can’t find it yet.
SCOTUS is REALLY gonna like to hear that ...
Great pic of God Fearing Patriots.
Thanks for sharing. It is now my new desktop photo.
There, better.
If he ever stuck a finger in my face like that, I would permanently remove it from his hand.
