The wheat from the chafe is being separated today. God will not be mocked.
“In any case were all doing as much as we can, including appealing to the good Lords intervention in this matter.”
We tried that too - and still lost...
cspan said something about this is called
whipping it in...
allowing time for people to get there etc..
OHMY!
I just turned onto FNC (can’t stand CSPAN callers)
What is Nancy Pelosi doing with that monstrous gavel?
I’d like to smack her in the head with it>
Same to you Dinah Lord! This is gonna be a long day. Hoping CNN’s report of Stupak’s NO status is accurate.
Taxation without representation huh? Cause that is what the congress-critters are voting on today; new taxes.
Pelosi just made a quick speech for the MSM with a gavel as big as her DumbA$$ Head!. Where is John J. Rambo when you need him?
Exactly.
I’d encourage everyone here to turn off the TV. Get off Freep (I’ll be logging off in a minute).
Get out with your family. Enjoy the day. Let the Pearl Harbor attack happen tonight and be rested for the multi-year island hopping campaign that commences tomorrow morning.
We’re going to have a lot of fun here the next week. The Doolittle bombing of Toyko starts with the Virginia AG lawsuit that will be filed tomorrow.
per Twitter
Dana Bash on @CNN: Stupak confirmed moments ago he is STILL A NO.
Other than that bit of Blackburn’s speech, she did a pretty good job. I hope the republicans keep the fire in their bellies today in any speeches they make.
This is gonna be hard to watch.
He has always wanted to vote for this thing. Always.
I just don’t know.
I hope our side doesn’t have to stand there to endure the celebration of the overthrow of our Republic.
Hmmm.
Stupak a no?
The C-Span host lady is so in the tank for the Dems.
I can understand your being a tinkerer. I have some types like that in my family. They aren’t happy unless they’re fixing something. LOL. Yes, road miles, esp. rough roads, are hard on a motorhome and driving on the Alcan is a long haul. That’s why we would probably never drive our motorhome to AK. It would be 8,000 miles RT. We might fly there and rent a Class C for a month or so in a few years. We’ve talked about that. It would be cheaper to do that than to drive our own out there. A month is about the break even point. If we could take 3 months, it would be cheaper to drive our own there as a major part of the cost is just getting there, but once you’re there, the cost for camping is dirt cheap, even free. But we’re not retired yet and we have to factor in lost income while being away.
That being said, motorhomes always require tinkering as well. Ours is 6 years old (we bought it used) and every time we’re out, something screws up. There are just SO many systems on board. Most things DH fixes, others (like when the fridge died) we have to have someone else take care of it.
If you have being on the water in your blood, a yacht is what you should do. We love the water as well, but content ourselves by cartopping kayaks on our two vehicle behind our motorhome.
i cant stand the cspan callers..is there anywhere else to watch this online right now?
Democrats don’t know what they have yet, 72 hours to pass the bill is pushing the limits, and all this vote count guessing shows that
