NIAGARA FALLS The "Slaughter Solution" on health care isn't the only thing that has come under attack in U.S. Rep. Louise M. Slaughter's world this week. Sometime early this morning, someone threw a brick through the front window of her Pine Avenue office.

My immediate first thought, too. I wonder how many get your reference? Does anybody under 30 know what it means?

Just read the Window War. It was absolutely engrossing. Almost wished it were a book when I came to the end. Great points throughout. Thank you for posting

I am glad that someone else here picked up on the Sipsey Street posting. There was also a post here years ago entitled “The Window War.”. It dealt with a similar response to horrendously anti-gun legislation. I am on my phone now, so cannot find it, but I hope that someone posts a link.
I hope and pray that this was the first shot fired in The Great Window War of 2010.

Maybe if they look inside Slaughter’s office, they’ll find a van der Lubbe, crying he was framed!

"There will be political prisoners."
The ONLY way I'm becoming a political prisoner is if they take me unawares. Otherwise, there will be MOUNTAINS of lead and brass on the ground first, and I'll be saving the last one for myself.
I'm not kidding.

Hey, and you know who has to pay to fix it? US taxpayers. Brilliant.Money well spent if it plants the faint seed of doubt in her mind.

This government has far exceeded the powers granted by the Constitution and no longer enjoys the consent of the governed. The relationship is irretrievably broken.

I agree -— things could get very ugly as this faction continues to push its anti-constitutional agenda on the tiring citizens.

Yep:
Look for staffers DNA on the brick. Then look for the DNA of the reporters who "were first" on the scene.

but a hundred bricks could signal a trend --
Riffing off the "song theme" and reference to Jethro' Tull's Thick as a Brick, above ...
there's only one thing you can do and that's walk into the shrink wherever you are ,just walk in say "Shrink, You can get anything you want, at Alice's restaurant.". And walk out. You know, if one person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick and they won't take him. And if two people, two people do it, in harmony, they may think they're both faggots and they won't take either of them. And three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. They may think it's an organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day,I said fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.

One brick is a crime. A thousand bricks is a statistic.
