I lived in California most of my adult life.
From what I gleen from news reports California is in Dire straits, especially the Central Valley. The “bread basket” of America.
Would you support a Reg that Eco groups MUST provide an economic impact report to any proposed or existing action.
ie: Denial of water to CV farmers.
With no primary opponent, they sure as hell better pony up some cash. I’ll be contacting them!

I would love to tell you that I support the flat tax, but I do not. In a District like the 51st, it will absolutely devastate the community. Also, the flat tax will produce tax revenue than the current system. I believe balancing the budget, and paying off the debt is a bigger priority. Down the road, after that is accomplished, I would revisit this issue because I am not against the flat tax on principal, just the effect.

Utilize the media. A lot of things happen behind closed doors in DC. I knocked a few doors down overseas for my country, I never thought I would be doing it here. But Marines accomplish missions.

absolutely. traveling around the district I’ve found that a great many of our problems are a result of California regs, more so than federal. Anything that I can do to eliminate regs at the federal level, also bypass state level, I support. let Nancy Pelosi and Bob Filner represent the smelt minnows, I’ll represent the people.
