Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is going a step beyond simply pledging to fight efforts to pass the health care bill -- she's openly pronouncing that people should personally declare it unconstitutional and defy it, depending on how it ends up getting passed.
At a rally at the Minnesota State Capitol on Saturday, Bachmann declared illegitimate the potential route that House Democrats could take to pass the health care bill. She was specifically railing against a parliamentary tactic by which the House could skip voting on the Senate bill by declaring it passed as part of the reconciliation bill. Bachmann pronounced this to be taxation without representation. "They have just started a revolution -- and they did it," said Bachmann.

I love Michelle Bachmann.
Palin needs to get away from stinking RINO Juan McCain and start acting like Bachmann again.

I’ve often speculated that one next logical step in Tea Party or other anti-statist action would be mass noncompliance.
I have always thought that the most sobering aspect of the Tea Party for the left is that the people paying the freight are the ones protesting. It’s easy to dismiss a bunch of willful government dependents moaning about their lot in life but when taxpayers speak up it is a very different thing - of course, the left’s big guns were immediately trained on the Tea Party.
Back to Obamacare -if the paperwork, systems, requirements, etc. were simply ignored the edifice would crash down quickly. No doubt this is why the IRS were included to act as shock troops.

"Ive often speculated that one next logical step in Tea Party or other anti-statist action would be mass noncompliance." Yeah, what could they do if NO ONE paid any attention to this "health care" bill, and went about our business as usual.

She's correct. A law not passed in conformance with the dictates of the Constitution is no law at all. That being said, the democrats, being in control of the instrumentalities of state power, certainly have the wherewithal to force compliance at the wrong end of a federal gun, but that is not the same thing as the natural obligation of voluntary compliance that all Americans owe to a properly passed, and signed statute of the United States of America.
Furthermore, this is nothing more than precisely the same sort of civil disobedience that the real civil-rights leaders, such as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., engaged in back in the day when they carried out peaceful sit-ins in whites-only restaurants and whatnot, and were willing to accept the sentence of jailtime or a fine as part and parcel of their testifying against the immoral and unjust racial separation laws they were protesting.
In point of fact, our position is even stronger than was theirs, not because they were wrong or less important, but because the laws they were protesting were, in fact, legitimately enacted laws, whereas what we intend to protest against is something that has been rammed through improperly and is not even a colourably valid law.

We may all have to endure a lot from the IRS if we don’t go along with the Dems Obamacare. If so, then that is a price we should be willing to pay. We must say NO to these commies who are killing our Constitution.

Rightly said.....we must not obey something that is totally NOT RIGHT! Civil disobedience is the only thing we have left.....
