Peter Graves dead?! Shirley you can’t be serious!
(Not meaning to make light of a man’s death, just to recall a fun moment in what sounds like a full life. RIP)

What a shame. He was a great actor, and a pretty good comic actor as well. He also worked right up to his death, which is pretty unusual these days.
Prayers...

I’m old enough to have watched Mission Impossible as a kid in the 1960’s and his character Mr Phelps. But he had a funny side in Airplane as well. RIP Mr Graves.

Peter Graves will be missed. I saw him 3 or 4 ago at a hotel in Bishop California. We were stopping over on the way to Tahoe and he and his wife just happened to be staying at the same hotel. I kick myself for not walking up to him and saying hi. But at the time I was thinking that he would appreciate his privacy more than a compliment on his acting ability. Probably a bad decision. In any case he was great in Airplane and the Mission Impossible series. Looked like a nice guy.

What a bummer, but at least I have the memories. RIP Mr Graves...
