Actor Peter Graves was found dead Sunday at his home in Pacific Palisades, according to law enforcement sources. Graves, who stared in "Mission: Impossible," "Airplane!" and Billy Wilder's "Stalag 17"--apparently died of natural causes, the sources said.
Graves was 83, according to a biography on the website IMDB.com.

You really should watch the DVD with the interviews and commentary. You learn little bits of trivia such as Leslie Neilson has his own fart machine and used it to produce flatulent sounds when Capt. Oveur became ill and passed out.

I’m old enough to have watched Mission Impossible as a kid in the 1960’s and his character Mr Phelps. But he had a funny side in Airplane as well. RIP Mr Graves.

I was boarding a plane and noticed a credit card in a plastic pocket on the inside of the cockpit door. I asked the pilot if they bought gas with that?
The pilot sez, “Yep, just like in the movie”...

Peter Graves will be missed. I saw him 3 or 4 ago at a hotel in Bishop California. We were stopping over on the way to Tahoe and he and his wife just happened to be staying at the same hotel. I kick myself for not walking up to him and saying hi. But at the time I was thinking that he would appreciate his privacy more than a compliment on his acting ability. Probably a bad decision. In any case he was great in Airplane and the Mission Impossible series. Looked like a nice guy.

I have seen these before. Otherwise, you gotta’ carry bullion in your flight case. That bag is too heavy as it is.

Some celebs hate to be bothered ...and others love to talk to fans/people. It’s hard to know and best to err on the side of caution. ;)
Sounds as if he was up and around almost to the end. That’s good.

I hope I remember this correct about “Airplane.” They said that out of the serious actors they had in the movie they had to explain to Robert Stack why things were funny, but Peter Graves got it every time.
