Please watch the video and read the remainder of the article. The Democrats may very well end our Constitutional Republic if we don't stop this process.

I had read that the Senate Parliamentarian had all but put
an end to this particular end-run around our Constitution....
so they plan to have Biden overrule the Parliamantarian???
Time for another, BIGGER march on DC!!!

If the democrats choose this route of discarding the constitution then they also remove any shred of validity to the federal government. With this fiat they will by the same dictatorial decree have disbanded the United States.

Without having yet read the article ( I will, I don’t pass up Horowitz) I have gotta say that since the very first time I read that term when they were closeted with the parlaimentarian, that “The Slaughter Solution” is the most APTLY NAMED legislative trick I have learned of since Hitler’s “Final Solution”.

How very, VERY appropriate.

This is the process by which the elected president of Venezuela became the dictator.

I see mass protests in our future. We’ll try the peaceful ones first.

If Fiat is "a legally binding command or decision" yet, what the Dems want to do this against the Constitution.. How can it be legally binding.. How can they get away with this.. What can be done to stop them?

This simply cannot be constitutional. I don't believe the Constitution provides that bills must be "deemed" to have passed .... Then again, so far as I can see, the Democrats see the Constitution as just so much highly-decorated toilet-paper.

Ever get the feeling these people don’t understand what’s going to happen in the civil war they’re laying the groundwork for?

Democratic leader Rep. Chris Van Hollen admitted Democrats intend to use the unconstitutional "Slaughter Rule" as a solution to ram nationalized health care through Congress without majority vote and in defiance to the will of the American people. The Slaughter rule would declare that the House of Representatives "deems" the Senate health care bill "passed" by the House. House members would have to vote on whether to accept the rule, but would then be able to claim they only voted for a rule, not for the bill itself.
Thanks callisto.

I love that the people whose favorite words are “democracy democracy democracy” suddenly don’t want to have votes on things.

I am far from a Constitution lawyer (more into consumer affairs, traffic tickets and an impressive business card on Singles Night at the local saloon), but has any Constitutional expert weighed in on this.

Not some legal bar fly, but someone with real Constitutional law credentials.

P.S has this Slaughter Rule ever been used before?

A major question will be if this strategy is used, will any state have what it takes to really challenge Federal rule. This is a coup against the Republic and should be treated as such.

Just as fiat currency is an improvement on gold money, so government by fiat will be an improvement over government by law.

I lerned that in colledge.

If the Rats in congress try this then it will be open civil war in the USA, and I will personally march on Washington DC and drag them out of their offices.

I'm tired of this congress and I'm tired of what they are trying to do.

Where's the military? Aren't they suppose to protect the U.S. from ALL enimies foreign and domestic?

In my opinion, Democrats appear to be acting like domestic terrorists.

And, I'm looking forward to elected incumbants going down in flames in the Fall elections.

Any incumbant who votes Yes on the Health Care Reform bill, should put his/her political head between their legs and kiss their @ss goodbye...

That's the word on the Web...
