This story at Newsweek made my day today. (How often do we say that at NewsReal Blog?) But as soon as you begin reading the post at the publication's Declassified blog you'll understand why:
Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Dianne Feinstein and other prominent Senate Democrats have accused spies at the Homeland Security Department of basing official intelligence reports on dubious open-source material. Inquiries by Declassified indicate that at least some of the data that Feinstein and her colleagues deemed questionable came from a website set up by outspoken conservative activist David Horowitz to catalogue negative information about the political left. You can read the letter -- much of it redacted -- here in PDF format.
Gee, I wonder which site it was? "Catalogue negative information about the political left"? Whatever could that be?

I don’t blame her. David Horowitz knows more about the communist left here in America than perhaps anyone. The demonRats have good reason to fear him.
That's just Fein!
They are more concerned about their political security than they are the security and safety of the American public.
