Tough words! This is what the country wants to hear. This is not what the democrats seem to want to hear from American's that we don't want this darn bill.

Seems more important that they got all 41 of themselves on the record and promised than that they actually sent such to Harry.

I hope it’s more than mere words.
I hope the Republicans have the stomach and the backbone to ‘walk the walk’!

There is another article about the GOP dealing with earmarks, saying that THEY WILL NOT take them, they are having a meeting.
The dem’s are addressing this and the GOP are hoping to beat them to the punch to keep these out of bills.
We will have to see.

They are fixin’ to send it. Hasn’t gone out yet. May just be a ploy to disrupt the arm-twisting, you know?

If they have the cajones to stick to their threat, this will be grand theater.
Of course, this threat sends chills down the spine of every dim in the House.
there's NO WAY the House will come up with the votes...

If effective, this could break cover for wavering democrats.
They would have to expose their votes on this awful legislation with no guarantee it would pass.
Also, it will sow the seeds of mistrust among the democrats themselves because they will wonder who will break ranks leaving them exposed even further.

Checkmate.
The reconciliation process will not be as smooth as the Democrats have been suggesting.

As long as the American people are against the bill they will do what ever they can to kill it. No down side. They make the dem’s look incompetent for not being able to pass health care pissing of their base, the conservative base will be fired up because they were able to kill the bill and the independents and RINO’s will also be happy the highly unpopular bill is killed.

this is the right strategy, convince wavering House Dems that the “fixes” they’ve been promised aren’t ever going to see the light of day

Can this mean 82 cojones have been found? Amazing!

Nope, it is mere words. First off, they have proven spineless and willing to cave on darn near every issue that has mattered. Secondly, and here's the kicker, Every issue not getting the 60 needed votes gets kicked to the Senate Parliamentarian, Alan Frumin, who will "rule" if it is propper.
How much does Mr. Frumin value his family and his life?

Excellent point. They could end up McCaining all over your Graham if you're not careful.

Reconciliation is a sham.
The Senate has already passed the Bill.
The House wants to send it to Obama without a vote.
meaningless posturing.

If a point of order cannot be overcome and is not ruled improper by the Senate Parliamentarian...My understanding is that the Senate Parliamentarian's rulings are only advisory and that the presiding officer of the Senate is technically free to do what he or she pleases.

The Repubs are finally growing a backbone? It's about time.......
IF true........
