It's early, but Mitt Romney still seems intent on repeating his mistaken 2008 handling of the abortion issue. Here he was today on "Imus in the Morning":

Romney praises Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."
Romney: I Was For The Bailout Before I Was Against It
I lost all respect for Romney when he said that national health care should be modeled after the “successful” program in Massachusetts. That program is hardly successful; it's actually swirling the bowl.
(Extended to 2+ hours, for your hating pleasure...)
What would Diogenesis do without Mitt-hater threads?
So liberals lie. What’s new?
“Hate?”
This is hilarious! I’m laughing my butt off!
Let's see...
“Wow, is Mitt really telling us he was never pro-choice, that he never changed his position over the years, despite the fact he did and up until today (no they won't stop) his sycophants here on FR tried to drag Reagan in and smear him in order to explain Mitt's now nonexistent (i.e. no loner acknowledged) “change” to a pro life stance he now says he always had?”
How did I do...
No, not from you. But I'm quite certain there will be plenty coming along soon. :-)
Romney will be the first presidential candidate defeated by YouTube.
There is too much video of Romney taking liberal stances, and the country is in no mood for a filp-flopper or RINO.
Like 1980, 2012 will be a year the country is looking for substance over style.
How much longer will you try and defend this guy before the reality set in for you. What more will it take?
How much longer will you sacrifice your supposed Conservative principles for this guy? Is it worth it?
Agreed.
If he wants to truly help conservatives, (big "if"), he should support the real ones in the background. His own brand has been damaged too much.
Next, Willard will claim he was never for Romney-Care in Massachusetts.
There is a reason for that, but I will leave it to you to figure out. It is more fun that way.
Once quotes start to come from leftist rags like the Boston Glob, etc., then it's not about truth anymore.
(Like I said, it hasn't begun yet, but that's just the direction these threads seem to go. I'll be very pleasantly surprised if it doesn't. I was being preemptive with my first comment.)
‘Ya really think I don’t know? Guess somethings go over your head.
Probably bigoted too, eh?
Romney hopefully will see the light and not even run.
Romneycare will be the end of him.
