That’s good, Mitt, but we aren’t just talking about the hair here.

Look, I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. I’m not trying to take us back to Reagan-Bush. My positions don’t talk about the things you suggest they talk about. ... Willard Mitt Romney

Wow, I'm glad Mitt acknowledges that he shouldn't be the GOP's 2012 Nominee.

That was easy!

big-top Republican ?

That sounds more like a circus tent Republican, and that brings to mind the clowns who are wanting the big tent.

“big-top Republican welcoming conservatives of all types in our party”

RR never said any such thing, he said purge the party of the leftists, like Myth Romney and Juan McCain.

Romney: GOP's 2012 nominee must be Reaganesque

I am so glad that Romney is taking himself out of contention.

Romney: GOP's 2012 nominee must be Reaganesque

So now we should expect the Romneybots to get busy defining Reaganism downwards.

Mitt and Huckaphoney have been doing their best to stay in the news, thus relavent, when both should slither back to whatever re-education camp they graduated from.

That nominee is not you, it will be Gov. Sarah Palin and she is our next Commander-in-Chief. This country will be stronger and better when govern with strong conservative value.

I'm not so sure about that; the "average" Republican and most independents now find obama and his policies so loathesome that even Romney or Huckabee can beat him (though neither of them is my preferred candidate).

These two retreads couldn't even beat McCain.

Is Mr.Plastic Hair now claiming to resemble Reagan?

Where did you find those quotes? I’m not arguing Rommey didn’t say them, I just don’t see in the article.

They are not in the article, they are just Romney quotes of his beliefs.

Romney left the Republican party in the 1980s because of president Reagan and he is on video (in a debate) giving that “I wasn’t for Reagan/Bush” quote.

The Jesse Helms quote is from a Washington Post interview.

The “Reagan was adamantly Pro-Choice” is from an ABC interview, but he actually spread that for months in face of everyone telling him it was false, apparently he was laying a foundational myth to use for his own “instant” conversion, his followers on FR and the rest of the internet use that line repeatedly, it now lives on in the world of Reagan myths and it was created out of whole cloth by Mitt Romney.

“Stuff it Mitt-Witt, you’re not worthy to cut the grass over Jesse Helms’ grave.”

Helms was an honorable man. Romney is a political whore.

I wish someone would write a book exposing all the Romney myths — before we start the 2012 actual election cycle.

It would also be nice if he wasn’t so good at getting video removed from YouTube, but the book idea is great.

We have never seen a chameleon like this guy is, he is like a shape shifter from a Star Trek show, he slides into and out of new suits with out even a blink.

His book seems to signal a shift back from the social conservatism that he slid towards, during the last primary.

Certainly there has to be some good Freepers who could put together a comprehensive book on the “real” Rommey.
