Isn't this the point, however? Regardless of who is in power, the problem with undercutting the founders' ideas about separation of powers results in difficulties we are facing now as well as in the past.
When presidents can write legislation and wage war while bypassing Congress, aren't we all kitty wampus in terms of their intent?
