Sarah Palin and reality show producer Marc Burnett have reportedly been shopping around a TV docudrama in Hollywood this week. Disappointingly, the subject will not be Bristol-Levi baby drama, or a look at Palin’s nascent comedy career, but rather… Alaska. One source described the show as a “planet-Earth type look” at the former governor’s home state. Palin and Burnett were seen leaving ABC today, Entertainment Weekly reported, and have met with Fox and CBS execs already. The pair will reportedly talk with NBC Universal TV Chairman Jeff Gaspin tomorrow...

It sounds fun. There aren’t enough nature shows that deal with North America. It’s always Africa and the Amazon, 24/7. Hell, if they’d had good shows about North American wildlife, I might have kept my tv service. Oh, and this is a good venue for Sarah Palin, as opposed to a presidential run.

Yeah, I would love to watch a show about Alaska, but the other thread made it out like she would be part of a reality TV show, which would be a horrible idea. Glad this is all cleared up. I’d actually love to learn more about Alaska, it looks like a beautiful state to visit, I hope to one day visit there

Of course, I Knew she would never be interested in doing a reality show..she wants to be President, not another Kate Plus 8, I can understand why she would pitch this idea, make a show about Alaska, its beauty, its culture, its vast history, why the heck not..
it’s about the state she governed, which a lot of people unfairly dismissed as an irrelevant pile of dirt and ice.
She did say that she could do more outside of Alaska than inside after the Rahm attackers, she is giving back
