cbs had their chance. Apparently, he’s a money maker.
I just hope he’s miserable.
It’s only the preview.

Now what about that Sarah Palin," says Letterman, who had to apologize for an off-color joke about the former Alaskan governor's daughter last year. "Shes not ready to be president, is she? (LOUD groans from audience)
Shes terrific, Romney rapidly replies to derisive audience laughter. She really is! Shes terrific. Shes got energy, passion by the way, you know, be careful what you say about her.
Letterman says he knows.
Romney adds with a smile, She has a rifle, you know. (Audience laughs)
Yes it starts at 1800 (taping) but you have to get there about 10 or 11 in order to get in...today maybe 5 a.m. lol. I was on Jay Leno show in 2000 (audience obviously) and had a great time but it was a long wait. Worth it though. Sometime when you are up to taking three buses you should go for it just for the experience. They did not have great guests on when I was there but really who cares. I saw Melanie Griffin who was really about the last person I wanted to see but the experience was good.
Har, I’m gonna stay in the Media Laboratory after I record and watch the show.
Won’t be coming back to the Computer Complex wing until the morning!
You da’ MAN!
We’re still on slow dial up here in Eagle, Ak. Palin will be on shortly. Wife and I have been offered teaching slots out your way; guess we are getting to accustomed to the minus 70 every January.
I never watch Letterman anymore either... he is a vile, despicable POS, and he hasn't been funny in many, many years anyway. Why CBS continues to keep him on air is beyond me.
I just briefly switched from Leno's show to Letterman's when Leno went to commercial. I caught just a few minutes of it.
All right then!
Good night and enjoy!
RonDog: Thanks for your fabulous "audience participation" tonight, and for your many interesting comments on this thread.
Night (((nutmeg))) Thanks for being here.
I think I should call it a night also. Too cold.
Enjoy! Looking forward to your comments.
Thanks again ((( RonDog )))
Ping me tomorrow...lol.
Night, everybody. Prayers for all!
I’m in King Salmon. I lose my job the end of March (Base Reduction and Closure) So I’m heading back south to California.
I am going to try to get back up here with a National Weather Service job later this summer. Crossing fingers and toes.
“...there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now”
That, unfortunately, is the doublespeak of those who support amnesty but don’t call it amnesty.
Romney going on The View and sucking up to Behar was all I really needed to know about Romney. Behar goes around calling Republicans every damn name in the book and here is Romney, sucking up to her and patting her on the back
Romney on healthcare? Talk about killing the patient!
What percentage of the audience were FReepers? We were "small but LOUD." :o)Were you a small but LOUD group, or was most of the audience really that supportive of Sarah?
More details in the "after action" report -- tomorrow.
Our actual group was about a dozen -- out of a total studio audience of about 300, I think.
Plus, there were a handful of OTHER vocal conservatives, who came independently from us.
MOST of the audience was VERY passionate -- to support either Adam Lambert or Shaun White -- but almost totally NON-political.
Virtually, NO boos or groans or hisses for Sarah. They mostly just "put up with her" -- until THEIR favorite appeared, like we did, suffering through Jay's initial monologue and "Headlines" fluff.
Yes, I think every time she’s on boosting Letterman’s competition, he wants to invite ion and boost someone who’s supposed to be her competition.
I've managed to go my first 41 years (plus one week) without drinking. If she wins in 2012, I will have a drink. Unless I get married first...
