It was a dig at Biden who said:
“It’s easy being vice president - you don’t do anything.”
Uh...joe...they gave Cheney his own death squad...
It’s just you....really it is...
Good night, Wizard!
Nighters my FRiend.
Watch that Frontline video “The Warning” about OTC derivatives I linked you to,it will blow your mind.
They try and implicate Bush but they can’t.
I thought Sarah was wonderful !
Class act from Leno.
Ping to post #197 (you’re mentioned).
I don’t think Steve King is anything like Tancredo. What makes you think that?
Not on your watch, eh pissant? LOL
Friend, I don't think I've seen a worse case of PDS on FR than yours.
That was a JOKE...
The audience was SO supportive of Sarah... it was great. I mean, they were 100% for Sarah.
RonDog: Was the audience filled with FReepers? ;-)
Meanwhile, I caught the end of Mitt Romney's appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Not defending Romney, but Letterman was his usual arrogant, condescending, nasty liberal self and fought Romney on just about everything he said. Then he asked Romney about Sarah Palin... the audience groaned. Romney said: "Sarah is terrific!" (and some other complimentary things about Sarah.) The audience groaned and booed even louder. Romney said to Dave: "Hey, you'd better watch it... Sarah's got a rifle!" which got some laughs.
Watched Olympian Shawn White's interview with Leno, then flipped back to Letterman. Dave is talking with the actress (Mia Somebody) who plays Alice in the upcoming film "Alice in Wonderland" with Johnny Depp. She and Dave are lovingly discussing her and the "Alice" cast's visit to the White House around Halloween with the Obama family. Mia talks about how weird it was to be at the White House with the Obamas at Halloween, with Michelle Obama dressed as Cat Woman, and Zero dressed up in some costume (I don't remember what). Dave makes a joke: "See? That's the kind of thing Mitt Romney wants to put a stop to!"
You guys were WONDERFUL tonight! The audience was 100% FOR Sarah, from what I heard.
That's good!
From another thread:
While Letterman is suddenly hugging up to Mitt Romney as his alter ego in L.A., Jay Leno restarts again on a positive note with a visit by the White She Devil, the Wolf Girl Incarnate, the Slayer, the former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin.
I like The Slayer. Lib Slayer.
Thanks for the wrap-up!
OH! Gee, I missed laughing at that one then! ;) She pulled it off like she knew it by heart, IMO.
Doctor said the worst case he had seen came out late in 2008, He said to expect a more virulent aggressive PDS to break around the fall season of 2012 and epidemic levels around January 20, 2013......
Unfortunately. she missed the opportunity to say a lot. I was really hoping she'd take advantage of this appearance.
People on this thread are proposing that King should run for President. I think his prospects are about equal to how Tom and/or Duncan did last time. Neither helped us to nominate someone other than McCain.
It’s an interview on a talk show, she wasn’t there to talk politics, just have a good time. If she wants to talk politics, that’s what Fox News is for, she goes on Hannity, Greta, etc. Tonight was just to have a good time, I just wish it had lasted longer
I thought Sarah was wonderful !Bingo!Class act from Leno.

...When I began doing stand-up in the 1980s, I wasn't very funny. Looking back, I was pretty horrific in a way that's embarrassing to recall. When I had been doing shows for about three months, Jay Leno came into the small suburban Chicago club where I was working. He had appeared earlier in the evening at a private corporate show down the street, and when he walked into the club a bit before midnight, everyone was thrilled to see the guy. It was a Tuesday, there were more comics than patrons and until he appeared, it had been a very tough night.
I was the last act of the evening, and in a show that included seven or eight acts, that is not a prime position. There were maybe a half-dozen people in the audience and naturally the club owner bumped me back so Jay could work out a few new minutes of material.
But when he was finished, he asked the MC for the name of the next act, introduced me and then purposefully sat down at an empty table in the middle of the room.
He didn't know who I was or if I was even remotely talented.
But he showed me respect as a fellow comedian and it was one of those moments that gave me a sense of who Jay Leno is at heart.
