Buen gobernador del pelo

You win the thread.

2% reporting, Perry sitting solidly over 53%. I think they're breaking out the champagne at the Salt Lick.

Someday, someone will explain to me why KBH ran for governor.

At one point she polled higher than Perry. But the failures of Washington (including much that she voted for) and the success of Texas under Perry worked against her.

Backlash? He’s the incumbent, what backlash? You’re reading a whole lot of nothing into it.

She adopted a couple of kids back in 2001. I guess she didn’t want to send them to the Sidwell Friends school. Thought she would move back to TX and what the heck, why not have a part time governor’s job in addition to her mommy job.

If Perry wins outright tonight, this helps kill BOcare. It is exactly what the House RATS face ahead.

Deeds, Corzine, Coakley — and now KBH, the consummate DC insider.

KBH didn’t run one positive advert. that I know of. If she had gone positive at first (tell us something good she wants to do) then switch to the negative campaign near the end, she might have done better. (or maybe not)

Seriously. I’m in NC, and I’d trade your governor for mine any day of the week. In a way, I am, since I’m planning on moving to Houston some time next year.

Maybe Texas has a Patrick Fitzgerald who can give Perry the Blago treatment.
