Dar Al-Hijrah Hosts Fundraiser For “Virginia Jihad” Cell Member; U.S. Muslim Brotherhood Leader Featured Speaker

(This Islamic Center in Falls Church, VA is a well-known hub for Jihadis both here in the US as well as those from abroad. Spiritual home of the Fort Hood shooter and his "Spiritual Advisor, Anwar al-Awlaki, now head of Al Qaeda in Yemen.)

Dar Al-Hijrah is tightly tied to the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. According to the Dar Al-Hijra web site, four of the nine board members must include the current Secretary General of Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the current President of Muslim Arab Youth Association (MAYA), the current General Manager of North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) , and the current President of Muslim American Society (MAS). (Both MAYA and NAIT are components of ISNA.) In 2004, the Washington Post reported on the ties between Dar Al-Hijra and the MAS, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood group close to the Egyptian organization. Anwar al-Awlaki, the radical imam with whom the Fort Hood shooter had been in contact, had been Imam of Dar Al-Hijrah to prior to 911 and in July 2005 Shaker Elsayed, the former secretary-general of the MAS was appointed as the Dar Al Hijrah imam. The former imam left to become the executive director of the Fiqh Council of North America, affiliated with ISNA.

(Other)Individuals convicted/indicted in terrorism-related cases that have been known to have attended Dar Al-Hijrah include:
Abdurrahman Alamoudi, (convicted in plot assassinate Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia)
Mousa Abu Marzook (indicted Hamas political leader)
Ismail Elbarasse (convicted of obstruction of justice in Hamas financing case)
Abdelhaleem Ashqar (convicted of obstruction of justice in Hamas financing case)
Randall “Ismail” Royer (convicted member of the Virginia Jihad Network)
Ahmed Omar Abu Ali (al-Qaida operative convicted of plotting to assassinate President Bush)
Two of the 9/11 hijackers, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Hani Hanjour were also known to have attended Dar Al-Hijrah.

Behind the Scenes of Virtual Jihad IV–Jihadi Media: A Global Production of Local News

In the past two years there has been a surge in the quality and quantity of jihad media, as is evident from the numerous texts, films, and images distributed by Islamist websites on a daily basis.

What started as a small group of jihadi media organizations has, within several years, mushroomed into a vast network of regional jihadi media branches throughout the Islamic world, Asia, and Europe. Surprisingly, these secondary jihad news outlets, which claim to operate independently from each other and autonomously from the global major jihad news outlets, have exhibited no learning curve. On the contrary; the professional quality of their news productions is indistinguishable from that of most Middle Eastern mainstream broadcast media right from the outset.

Moreover, the films that they purportedly created on their own are uniform in both style and content and conform to existing commercial media standards.
The purpose of this article is to show that despite their implicit or explicit claims of independence, the jihad media outlets, whether global or local, are operating under an umbrella organization and coordinated media network which resembles a large news cooperation, rather than local grassroots jihadi cells.

Have been crusing these sites....some really diabolical stuff these muslims do to each other not to mention other people. What a demented insane people they are. And the woman are as bad as the men!

Someone posted we should just nuke the muslim countries....if I wasn’t a Christian it would be easy to agree. It’s almost the only thing that will stop them. I think the most disturbing thing is how they truly celebrate what they do to one another....behead a person and they clap and celebrate...stone someone..shoot them...sexually assult them...doesn’t matter they have nothing but barbaric emotions.

Syria is also getting bolder as BO continues to more support for the muslim world than Israel.

He seems to be hung up on aggrandizing himself with Islam at any cost (including the alienation of American citizens and the huge number of Christians in America.)

Now before you start laughing at the stupidity of our president, I should point out that Obama is absolutely correct - if you take away the 27 countries in front of us who have a larger Muslim population than we do.

The film "The Stoning of Saroya M" is a remarkable testament to that. We've been watching a large number of films from the Middle East and they are a far better education about the area than any textbook could ever detail. "Afghan Star" shows how a female singer who displays her hair and dances on stage is treated like a pariah for her unacceptable behavior. It's the stone age in 2010 (and sorry for the pun, but stoning is a distinct possibility).

What a beautiful idea...might be too late if people aren't willing to change their behavior and attitudes toward the things of G-d.

I think of how often G-d warned Israel and time and again he rescued them...just as He has done for us in the past...but we were a believing nation then. People honored G-d and kids were taught about Him and what He taught to lead a good life. I just have the sense G-d has had enough and knows it will just be another cry for rescue rather than a turning to Him. He had a time line for Israel and their land was invaded....so to is ours.

Do you even remotely believe our Gov. will do anything to stop the “barbarians” from coming in here any more than Rome could stop them. History seems to so much be repeating itself in our country now. Every country and empire that turned from G-d fell. Should we expect anything more or less.

We have mass killings of the unborn...we allow homosexual practices to flourish and even encourage it to the point they are standing in leadership in our churches and attacking our children...and then we fling this crap in the face of G-d....and we dare ask for mercy on our country? Further we no longer protect our children, rather they are consistantly exposed to things at an early age that their tender eyes should not see let alone burned into their little minds...and we dare ask G-d to help this country?

BTW am familiar with Pocono area as a friend of mine once managed a business up there. Pretty secluded area overall...like country living of sorts. But is just miles from Wilksbarre...and Hazelton which at one time was a mafia filled community. I knew they had a problem with a huge mexican and otherwise population coming in to Hazelton and the mayor got headline news nationwide for going after employers who hired them.

Hopefully people will go there with humble hearts...I have certainly felt this for some time...but also anger that we just continue to see our nation slid further down the hole. As if no one knows where the brake levers are!

I am however convinced that the only way this freefall is going to get stopped is if G-d does intervien...for that reason and dispite my anger I will indeed pray with those there and on that day.

We have been given a standard. All of us. The one person you cannot lie to is yourself. Conscience is what separates us from animals and subhumans.

Well it does look like they are going to declare Turkey an Islamic nation doesn’t it? Many were concerned for sometime this might draw closer to happening but I honestly thought it would not happen until they weren’t getting any traction on joining the EU...then they turned to the Islamic League for membership...I suspect part of the deal was to declare themselves an Islamic state.
