Sarah Palin will be on the "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno this TUESDAY, March 2.Members of the Los Angeles chapter will be in the studio audience. We will not be able to bring SIGNS inside the taping,
but they cannot prevent us from writing a message of encouragement
to Governor Palin on our HANDS, right?
I'm in favor of us all writing something SIMPLE on our hands, like this, from FReeper MaryFromMichigan :
This could get Jay's attention, and might even make it on TV.
What do YOU think?

Old joke, let it die; you aren’t doing her a favor by reminding Middle America of the original episode.
But cheer like heck—and I mean like heck!—and have a great time.
To: 9YearLurker
Middle America loves it!
It has been used to Palin’s advantage many times
Drives the leftists bonkers, they wish it would just go away.

but I do think maybe the hand thing has run its course.
Perhaps for SARAH but not for those that don't have a voice! I say it's perfect!

The original episode? Sarah did it ON PURPOSE!

Go for it, RD! Palin will get a kick out of it and a lot of people will see that she has a terrific sense o'humor.
Lighten up, 9YL. If I can live with her egregious error of endorsing McCain surely a seriously dispositioned person such as yourself can see that this is all in fun.

Jeesh—it was fun about 150 imitations ago!

Palin’s already won Middle America. It’s snooty Eastern independents she has to charm now.

Can’t stand Leno, and it’s on at 11.30 here, as well. Maybe I’ll record it....

I’m not a big Leno fan either, but at least he’s not as hateful as Letterman... I’ll watch just ‘cuz Sarah will be on.

I read in another article that Piper was the one who wrote “Hi, Mom!” on Sarah’s hand. Whippersnapper! ;-)
Looking forward to catching the show tonight. Wouldn’t watch otherwise. Love the writing on the hands idea! Woot!

This is a late night tv audience. This is still breaking news for a majority of them.
