CNN has a bureau there. I’m guessing FOX does not.
CNN is the best for this type of coverage
honest to goodness, this is the only time CNN is worth two cents.

BTW, the monument to the American troops who fought and fell at Tarawa was a disgrace when we visited it. I hope that has been rectified in the ensuing years.
The Japanese cemetery was very dignified and well-maintained.
Also the only American product that I saw there was beer. Every motorized item was Japanese, from outboard motor to auto.
I’m just waking up to this. I’m guessing CNN has been all over this since the quake happened. I can’t fathom the extensiveness and scope of the damage we’ll see....
I suggest that any person blaming this on Global Warming should be clubbed to death.

Thank you. I live just outside of Jayapura, Indonesia (the island of New Guinea). The tsunami should be here about 1000 our time Sunday morning.
To the best of my reckoning the wave should be running not quite parallel to our coast.
I live on the inside side of Mount Cyclops. The beach is 13 miles away on the outside side of Mount Cyclops. My prayers are for the nationals living on the coast.

I think the discovery channel actually had a show about this exact scenario just off the coast of central Chili. I believe it was on a couple of weeks ago.
Yep....I was up early and flipped on FOX; got the usual chatter. It wasn’t until I checked the Weather Channel ( !! ) that I got a clue about this.
Could you get that list to angcat he has a proposal on what to do with those tards! ;-)
