The guy on CNN was very informative. Tsunami has been generated. This was one plate sliding under another. Lots of water moved if this guy is correct.

They are going to have about one million affected one way or another in this.
For what it’s worth, the Haiti quake was Mag 7.0 at 8.1 miles deep.
OK... here in Seattle we have about 21 hours until the Tsunami gets here. Might not amount to much by then. or maybe it will.
It is deeper than Haiti, I remember that much
