Tsunami sirens are going off right now in Hawaii.
mmmm sorry to hear that. My son has an Ohio friend living near there as well. Her family was contacted by the American Embassy to let them know she is ok. I hope you receive good news as well!

They say big quakes sometimes trigger quakes elsewhere in the world. This Chile quake came only 12 hours after a pretty big quake occured near Japan.
The theory is that it doesnt actually cause the quake. But the pressure is already near a breaking point at the other location and the energy from another quake may be just enough to tip it over the edge.

Pictures show a sizable, mountainous island, so it wouldn't have been washed away. A coastal town, however, could have been destroyed.

A massive 8.8-magnitude earthquake rocked Chile early this morning, killing at least 78 and prompting tsunami warnings in areas as far away as the western coast of the United States.

There should be a law AGAINST the MSM showing any images of looting until waaaaaaaay after disaster relief teams have arrived - I don’t consider it looting when they are scooping up food and/or disaster gear. That’s called survival skills, NOT looting.
2-3 feet expected in Santa Monica...Malibu etc. per CNN from the geographical center.
