I saw that RP won the CPAC straw poll for president in 2012. I was really freaked out by that. I though CPAC was for normal people.
His “win” crippled the credibility of CPAC, to say the least.
Not this year. I read that the ACLU had a booth and GOProud was there pushing the norming of homosexuality.
It used to be. The Libertarians are very busy trying to take over any high-profile conservative initiative and if there's one thing Libertarians are good at, it is swarming and spamming.
I'd like to see the conservatives take CPAC back from the Libertarians.
They are also infiltrating Tea Party events and claiming the whole movement was their idea.
Their intent is to get as many PaulCult members into high-profile offices as they can. We must be vigilant and try to thwart them at every turn.
