Florida Congressman almost caught in Niger coup ("Republicans want you to die quickly" Alan Grayson)

The embattled representative from the state of Florida, Alan Grayson found himself on the verge of being caught in a coup in Niger earlier this week.

Alan Grayson, the often outspoken Democratic Representative from Florida was on a trip to Niger earlier this week. While on his trip there was a military coup that Grayson almost found himself caught up in.

According to a Grayson's press secretary, Todd Jurkowski, "He heard the gunshots. They were literally in the building next door."

Grayson was serving as part of a congressional delegation that was focused on science, technology and humanitarian relief.

When the fighting and gun fire broke out Grayson was taken to the home of the United States Ambassador to Niger where he stayed with armored protection.

As of Thursday night it was announced that the constitution of Niger had been suspended. Grayson subsequently traveled to the neighboring country of Burkina Faso and was scheduled to return to the United States on Friday.

Well, at least Grayson wasn't exaggerating as much as Hillary when she said, "I remember landing under sniper fire."

But seriously ... couldn't this guy at least come up with something a little more original?

7,000 people who work at the Kennedy Space Center have been told they will be laid off in Sept. That's 7,000 out of around 13,000. the death of our Space program.

And another 30k+ will lose their jobs in the area as the business that depend on the base will go out of business.

With that many people losing their jobs at once, there will be no jobs for anyone to find.

And then the mortgage foreclosures will start.

Niger used to be a French colony. They are a major supplier of yellow cake uranium to France’s nuclear industry.

The country of Niger is increasingly finding itself desertified from the north as the Sahara moves futher south. Also, Islam is spreding further south with the desert.
