Ron Paul Wins CPAC 2012 Presidential Straw Poll
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
It wasn’t until 2007 (the beginning of the primaries) did a large amount of freepers (the RINO Bushbots amongst us) start blasting Ron Paul with lies”
It was in 2007 when Ron Paul, Iraq war critic, stood with Democrats as the lone Republican to vote against resolutions in support of our troops overseas and to support unwise Democrat plans to withdraw troops from Iraq prematurely.
... maybe, just maybe, it wasnt a coincidence.
Well if ronny boy gets it we can guarantee another four years of Obamo....and kiss our country goodbye...
“Couldnt have said it better myself. Ive NEVER heard of any modern conservative talk about getting rid of all the agencies and most of the depts. like RP has.”
Talk is cheap. Where and when has RP actually made PROGRESS in putting his small-Government words into ACTION?
“eliminate the Department of Education, the EPA, seriously downsize HHS, cut out the Irs and the Income tax” Where are his bills and co-sponsors? IMHO, he’s not good a writing bills and getting them up for votes.
Is there a litmus test for the Tea Parties now? Honestly, I thought it was devoid of a particular ideology beyond following the constitution. I don’t know that I’ve even asked what party other attendees belong to.
Cindie
None of that matters because he’ll never beat out Obamo...just not possible...people are fickle.
Posting Medina is like posting a deflated balloon...
It’s not easy to get stuff through a one-party gov’t. However, his Audit the Fed bill has more than enough co-sponsors to pass, but the companion bill in the senate will have a tougher time.

Thank God Paul never got a chance to govern anything but his big mouth. Your boy Mitt, on the other hand, for a brief moment got to govern Massachusetts and made a helluva mess. Now he wants to do to the rest of us what he did to them. No thanks!!
Ron Paul is a non-starter. He will be, what, 77 years old in 2012? I don’t like libertarians anyway. They are, as far as I’m concerned, one step away from anarchists. I believe in the rule of law. The Constitution of the U.S. I don’t trust libertarians, period. IMHO.
“We have to have a stong field, but right now we have to concentrate and dedicate ourselves to the elections in November. “
I AGREE 100%!!!
2010 should be a HUGE year for Republicans, and here is what every Freeper must do to make that happen: Find a good candidate to support via money, time and talent and support them.
Outragous. CPAC is irrelevent now.
Palin knew why NOT to attend was a smart move.
?!?!? I said already in this thread ... “Everyone who ran in 2008 needs to get off the stage and let a whole new crew run in 2012.”
... and lets focus on a winning 2010 first.
Palin did NOT attend because as her spokesperson said:
“We support those who advance our core beliefs and lead by principle.”
Read the speech my tagline came from, Reagan was advocating throwing non-conservatives out of the GOP.
And that covered more than one of CPAC’S co-sponsors.

DUH....She is referring to the organization itself. Lots of shenanigans going on there with Keene etc.
Keene and FedEx, Keene is a sell-out. CPAC is no longer for conservative Republicans. It had a good run, but it’s over.
That was one fantastic speech. This guy has talent. “I’ll show you crazy!” LOL
