Ryan Sorba, from the Young Americans for Freedom organizations California chapter, was booed off the stage tonight at CPAC, for deriding CPACs choice to have GOProud attend CPAC, even going so far as to say he condemns CPAC. Not the sort of thing one would say when invited to speak at the biggest gathering of Conservatives who look to CPAC for guidance and networking.

Every society in the history of the world that embraced homosexuality has been destroyed, and if we break-down and embrace it as a people so will we....
You are right Jim!
Thank you!
Its nobody’s business what they do.
zot
Your scatalogical and anal obsession really is quite disturbing. Are lesbians okay with you? I mean, since they don’t play with the poo and all...is that okay? I’m merely pointing out that your comments are a non-stop description of sex acts we’re all well aware of. If you have a rational reason to be against homos marrying, that’s great. So do I. Argue it. Proclaim it from the mountain tops, or the internet works too. But all you seem interested in is a sex act or acts; are you really so naive as to believe those same acts aren’t being performed by heterosexuals? Is it okay for heterosexuals then and just not okay if it’s same-sex? Get a grip. Yes, it’s gross. But is opposition to things that ick you out your only political belief?
We’re pissed off because the leadership (if you can call it that) of the GOP seems to be surrendering to the “gay” agenda. And anything other than total capitualation to the “gay” agenda will still evoke cries of “Bigots” and “Haters” so any attempt to get the leftists and Dems to “like” us is stupid and useless.
I could give a rip if they “like” us. I just want them to lose.
Up yours, pal.
When they put it in my face or my children’s faces, it’s my Business!
Yowza - great rant. Reading it was like watching someone cut through a jungle with a machete - whack, whack, whack! The traitorous GOP do-nothing strategy is absolutely crucial to the Rats - they couldn’t stand up to truly determined dissent for a day.
The GOP’s job is to be what the military calls a “force multiplier,” delaying, obfuscating, obstructing, exhausting and otherwise blocking any focused efforts against the Rats. At least we now have the RINO term to use against them, as well as the cognitive splitting off of conservatives from RINOs the term enables. That’s a big deal - seeing the enemy clearly is crucial.
That’s why the Rats, RINOs and MSM en masse are all attacking the hell out of the tea party movement, to fragment it, pit the fragments against each other, and drain it’s power into factionalized infighting and loss of vision. In the short term, these tactics are going to seem effective, but ultimately they will force conservatives to get very, very clear about their focus, like coal being pressured into forming a diamond. Only when that happens will there be enough power to bring the country back to it’s original Constitutional principles.
>>Once upon a time, gay groups attended various Christian churches, claiming only to want to worship along with everyone else. Now, many of those churches have fallen because of them and blatantly ignore scripture because it might offend the gays. No thanks.
My take: I attend a parish here in Hellywood CA and every 2 months, they gave a Gay Mass. Obviously the numbers swell, but have you ever experienced sitting beside a homo? Try “oh, he’s lovely”, “the priests’ robe is tacky”..
Yup, these are bonafide remarks I hear. Now when its NOT Gay week, these same gays are nowhere to be seen. So in short, to them, it’s gay FIRST, Christian second. Like a straight mass is beneath them? May they roast in hell.
This is a discussion worth having. If not here, where? This thread may have helped others who might have been tempted to bend with the progressive wind, to see that a gay advocacy group has no place in the Republican Party.
Good point.
Not on FR. Take it somewhere else!
You are about one post short of a zot, troll.
B-R-A-V-O Jim!!!!!
Telling it much like it is, and rather eloquently i think.
But i always contends that the real case is a spiritual one, that the rejection of the Evangelical faith and authority of the Bible (in real-time) precedes the election of deceivers and the downfall of a nation.
Hos 8:4 They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.
Jim, I am now, and have always been, in 100% agreement with that statement.
I also don't believe this site is trying to be a republican party site, and that's also a good thing.
But I stand by my statement. I think we, as people of faith, must stand against homosexuality, and must forcefully oppose the homosexual agenda. That means that we must condemn homosexuality, and condemn those who promote homosexuality.
But I don't expect a political party to condemn individuals for being homosexuals, even if the party is primarily made up of people who individually would condemn homosexuals.
God will punish homosexuals, but I don't expect my political party to be the instrument of that retribution. So while I would and have personally condemned homosexual behavior, I don't expect the republican party to condemn individuals who are homosexual.
I DO expect the party to condemn the homosexual agenda, and to resist the homosexual takeover of leadership which leads to advancing the homosexual agenda.
I certainly didn't intend any of my personal statements to be construed as supporting a homosexual agenda. I opposed CPAC's sponsorhip by GOProud, and I've already stated what I think such organizations have no place in the conservative movement.
But I do not see a political or ideological advantage to the party itself being seen as anti-gay, as opposed to being anti-gay-agenda. And I believe we need to win elections to hold off the gay agenda,
The problem with your course of action is that opposition to gay marriage is twisted into gay hate by both the liberal media and homosexual groups.
Opposition to gays in the military brings the same response.
Opposition to teaching children that the homosexual lifestyle is no different and on the same level as a traditional nuclear family bring even more cat calls of “right-wing hatred”.
We are damned if we do, damned if we don’t so why bother to compromise our position on this issue?
I for one do not believe that the majority of Americans, when confronted with the truth of the radical gay agenda being foisted upon this nation, would approve with their agenda. In fact, it would seem the more people learn the more they are apt to change minds - to our side.
For the GOP to win, we need a solid platform with firm principles on all issues that affect America. When Conservative beliefs are clearly and honestly explained more people find they are in full agreement with those positions. Many go even further and start working towards advancing the Conservative platform.
When the GOP platform tries to conform to the latest special interest group or bends the platform in an attempt to garner a few thousand more votes, we all lose.
The GOP didn’t lose power after 94 and 06 because of Conservative positions - they lost by going first against the base, then the moderates in the party and finally by not standing up to liberals who ran smear campaigns against Republicans Goebbels would be proud of.
Any issue you can think of will work using this simple formula, including the issue of homosexuals jumping on the
Conservative platform solely to spread their own agenda.
