Interesting timing, Fox just ran the story about the base poisoning.
To: Soul Citizen
I saw that. Bone chilling. Apparently a group of muslim Army translators under investigation.

Ran into Arnold Palmer there one night. Almost literally, as he was bursting out of a bar with a bunch of friends.

Surprising, huh? You never know. My family has see various ‘celebrities’ there over time.
At least Arnie wasn't hobnobbing with Tiger Woods, lol!

Unfortunately a RINO Representative from my area, Michael McCaul, is trying to scare us with the terrorism crap and saying that general aviation needs to be investigated by the government. I thought the guy was a Democrat, but turns out he's a Republican. He has no problem slandering general aviation. None at all. It's no surprise, the guy never served in the military and isn't a pilot.
This moron doesn't try to scare people with terrorism crap when somebody shoots somebody or runs somebody over with a car, and he isn't calling for government investigations into gun owners or car owners, but low and behold somebody does something with a privately-owned aircraft and everybody must be guilty.

AVIATION PING
See my #1289. This Republican is slandering general aviation, saying it needs to be investigated by the government.
These are his websites:

Need to find out who is challenging him in the Republican primary and send some money their way and let them know that a lot of us involved in general aviation don't appreciate this b.s. I understand that many aren't from Texas, but some notes of encouragement to his challengers on the issue would probably be welcome. I'll see what I can find.

Joseph Andrew Stack does not have any upcoming events. Well, that depends on your religious beliefs.

In the background there is a building that looks like the hotel at the Arboretum. If so, that’s a bit ironic, since it’s only about two blocks from the crash site.

I wrote to her as well. So much for journalistic integrity.

Later less cropped photos show that it was taken on the south side of Town Lake, looking northeast toward either the South First or Congress street bridge. The building on the right across the lake might be the Four Seasons Hotel; not sure about that though.

Most of Austin—Hyde Park, Travis Heights etc is liberal...NW Austin is somewhat populated with good conservatives like me

I was going to make a comment about Euell Gibbons but you took care of it. Thanks. Back in the very early 70s, we'd thrown some yard trimmings down the (steep) hill on the property. They unaccountably disappeared.
My father said of it, "Euell Gibbons must've eaten them."

CBS News said that about 200 people worked in the building. It seems like a pretty large building for only 200 people. Wonder what else the building housed?
Sad for the people who were hurt or injured, and their families.
